The BOSCH line of countersinks are great for deburring and chamfering openings to pre-drilled holes. Great for electrical, plumbing and HVAC contractors. BOSCH countersinks cut varied materials cleanly and accurately. With standard high-speed steel and super hard titanium-coated bits, these countersinks perform great in even the toughest materials.
From the Manufacturer
Bosch router bits are distinguished for their careful selection of materials, exactly calculated cutting geometry, long bit life, extra sharp cutting edges and low vibration.

I bought two of these thinking I'd need both, but the first one went through everything beautifully! I barely used any force and accuracy was fantastic.

I use this for trimming aluminum skin and it works great. Aluminum does not stick to it like a carbide cutter.

I have used this bit over the last three days to cut window and door openings in faux brick 1/4 inch paneling. I am not sure of the material, but assume it is mdf of some nature. I have cut roughly 60-70 linear feet of material with this bit so far. It cuts fairly well, but seems to bog down occasionally. For actual cutting, I'd give it a 7 out of 10. I do not find the drill through point to work well at all. It is hard to keep in place until it punches through, at least on the material I am cutting. The reason I have given it four stars is because the bit gets so hot it is literally causing fires in the dust it creates. I have tried every speed from slow to max but the bit is scorched black. Not being sure if this was user error or the product being cut, I tried a normal flush cut bit and did not experience the heat/scorching at any speed. This is such an issue, I now have a fire extinguisher next to me for the remainder of the project.update:After making several more cuts, this bit is creating too much of a fire hazard to continue using it. At one point today, I literally had over ten smoldering areas in the dust after a single cut. With the amount of fine debris present, this could lead to a serious issue. The "guide" portion of the tip also does a very poor job on inside corners, it will easily allow the bit to continue straight and cut right into whatever edge you are following, for me it's a window frame.I went to a big box hardware store and paid $23 for a name brand flush cut bit that has 3 cutting blades and a true ball bearing type guide wheel. This new bit is 100 times better than the Bosch bit.
