The FD 314 Office Desktop Folder provides an economical solution for low-volume folding projects. It combines a compact footprint with push-button controls, so it's simple to use, right out of the box! Fold plates are clearly marked for four common folds - letter, zig-zag, half and double parallel - and can be easily adjusted for custom folds. With a three-tire drop-in feed system, it processes 11” and 14” paper at speeds up to 7,700 sheets per hour, and offers a hopper capacity of up to 250 sheets. The LCD control panel includes a resettable 3-digit counter, and AutoBatch for processing a set number of sheets with a pause between sets. The built-in output conveyor features adjustable stacker wheels for neat, sequential stacking of folded pieces.

My workplace had a paper folder for about 20 years that didn't work perfectly, but mostly was easy to use. It finally went kaput. Searched high and low and apparently folding machines aren't as easy to find as they once were. Purchased this one as it seemed like a similar option. Now, had it about a year and I wish I'd returned it.1st: It didn't come with any kind of instructions. A lot is intuitive but some things aren't. 2nd: The manual paper setting is horrible. Myself and another co-worker thought you just follow the marks and you get that fold. Nope! Had to slowly keep moving it until we got the right setting and now will never change it as a minuscule miscalculation ends up with crooked or chewed up paper. 3rd: After about a year of owning it, it won't recognize paper in the tray. A large pile is fine, but once it gets down to 5 or less pages, the machine stops and the display reads "No Paper." 4th: Getting it to fold more than a handful of pages without mis-folding or getting jammed is almost impossible. 5th: Some paper folds fine and some not so much. If paper is slightly thicker or has a color printer ink on it, forget getting the machine to fold it at all.What a waste of money and time!
