I purchased this item a couple months ago. It took A LOT of tinkering because the instructions that came with the machine seems to be translated from Japanese to English via Google translate. When we got it working, we would feed the machine and it jams every other attempt. The machine broke down a couple weeks ago and it has been a lot of back and forth with the owner, who seems to be super stubborn and swears his device works. Even after sending it back for repair, it comes back even more shoddy then before. The rollers didn't have the same performance as before and the feeder doesn't seem to want to pick up papers to fold. Stay far away from this brand. This is a sinkhole of time and money for anyone that wants to buy this $2000 paperweight.

At first use we were very impressed with this folder. About the 5th time we tried to use it, it wouldn't work. We contacted the manufacturer. We were able to talk to a real person that helped us troubleshoot. He was very nice but was unable to help us get it going again. They shipped us new parts, 2 different times, were always friendly on the phone but still never able to make it work again and we were past the Amazon return window. We may have gotten maybe 1500 sheets of regular copy paper folded with it before it stopped working all together. Very disappointed.

Bought for the office. Once you figure out how to set it up it works quite well. Good folder for the price.

This is a very good machine. The instructions could be improved quite a bit. Problem with the instructions is that they are written by or for someone who already knows how the machine works. It took a lot of fiddling to figure out my initial issues. I still don't know everything. The machine itself is great. In my opinion a small business can save a lot of money with this machine. If you can't afford to have a specialty house do your ad (hand out, mail out) work this is the way to go. Even if you can afford to shop it out this may still save you money. We have found that even after we have developed our proof and printed, we still find errors or changes we want to make. If you have just paid a print shop $600 or more for the printed material, you are very reluctant to reprinting. We print small runs on our laser printer, fold them then send them out. If we find that we want to make changes, either from our own reading or from customer feedback, we can make them on the next run. This folder gives us a lot of versatility which a small shop needs. It may seem like a lot of money but it has paid off for us.
