We were trying to fold heavy 80lb cardstock in 5x7 size and it just mangled our paper. Seriously, I think our paper was just too heavy for this machine. It would probable work great for regular paper.

I bought this Martin-Yale as a "return" to Amazon at a very good price. It came in pieces but was very easy to assemble if you know folding machines. Works great! But looking it over I would say it is for "light usage" and not for Commercial Printer use.

The machine is a bit of a tank so I have high hopes that it will run for years to come. I will stress to anyone purchasing the folder to read the instructions very carefully. Sometimes they are a little vague, though. I had used a similar model 15 years ago so I made some assumptions starting off. It is fussy. Every setting needs to be done precisely. It is very difficult to clear a multiple sheet feed so make sure you read the loading instruction VERY CAREFULLY. The folding table does not hold more than 20 pieces. I'm using 11x17 paper which may contribute to some of my wonky folds. But it is solidly built and arrived very quickly.

We now had this folder for a couple of weeks and have run some tri-fold jobs on it. We're extremely pleased with the results. I've tested it on a glossy text weight stock and have gotten the same results that others have reported, the folding wasn't perfect. The slicker surface of the paper causes a bit of slippage in the machine so the folds are skewed a bit. It's possible that with a little skewing of the settings that glossy stock might work but that's only if the amount of skew without adjustment is off consistently. If it's random then it's not going to work at all.The build quality of the folder seems quite good for a machine in this price range. Under moderate to light use it should hold up for a lot of years. Just be sure to keep it clean, especially the rollers. And be sure to follow the factory instructions on keeping the rollers clean. The setup of the machine wasn't bad, but I had to study the exploded view drawing in order to better understand how things went together. The written instructions were not clear at all.

This folder operates as advertised. It handles large formats and heavier stock without a problem.Initial setup can be a bit tricky but once you get the hang of getting everything squared up, folding is quick and reliably accurate.

Does not work as promised, it is not accurate on foldings and it is always jamming, I red the manual did everything called customer service and still the same. Silly way to throw all the money to the garbage.

This is a great product which added more time to our production line. It does a wonderful job and folds paper to the precision. Overall a great product to own for a printing company small or big. - Hadassah Graphics recommends this product!
