Okay, so first, mine came with instructions. They were literally "Take off old screen, install new screen, reinstall screws". Um, there are no screws. And absolutely no mention of what to do with the connection band. Thank goodness for YouTube. Taking off the old screen took about 1 3/4 hours. The included tools are two cheap guitar picks, another pry tool for removing the back cover, and 3 completely unneeded screwdrivers.The glue holding the original glass on is most likely a forever chemical developed jointly between NASA and the Legion of Doom, as even a super-hot blowdryer could not melt that stuff. I ended up using a box cutter to chip away at the little pieces of glass and glue left behind after peeling the large chunks off. Thankfully, YouTube has videos about connecting the ribbon connector, and installing new screen took about 5 minutes.Overall, the new screen looks nice, but a bit thinner than the original. Definitely seems more responsive than the original. I took off 1 star for the "included instructions" and another for the chinsy tools. The screen itself is worth the money though.

My 5-year-old dropped his Onn Surf KIDS tablet and got a spiderweb crack across the entire screen. This is a pretty inexpensive tablet, so I figured it was worth it to try replacing the screen myself instead of going to a professional or buying a whole new tablet. Keep in mind that this screen is for the KIDS tablet. Check the product number carefully before you purchase a replacement screen.This kit does not include ANY instructions, but I followed another reviewer's advice and watched some YouTube videos about replacing other Onn tablet screens and the process is essentially the same. Based on those videos, I was able to remove the old, cracked screen and replace it with this one. Removing the old screen is absolutely the hardest part (and has nothing to do with this product). The tools that were included in this kit to remove the screen were moderately helpful, but you'll also need to get creative (I used an old gift card to get into the crack between the screen and casing). Once the screen was off, the new screen (this product) attached easily and works great. It actually seems more responsive than the original screen. I also purchased a screen protector from another company, so hopefully I won't have to replace the screen again anytime soon.

The screen its self is easy to install , it is just getting the old screen off that is hard. You have to heat the screen to get the adhesive soft but in doing so the thin plastic will deform if it gets too warm. It's touchy to do. Otherwise to install the new screen is a breeze.

The direction tell you that you need to get a blow dryer and melt off the old screen 1st WELL it melted my tablet! Then I finally get the screen actually on and it is NOT A TOUCH SCREEN! Now I am out a tablet and money for purchasing this!!

Replaced the screen on a ONN brand *KIDS* tablet. The screens on the regular onn tablets and kids tablets are different sizes. This one fit the kids perfectly. And looks great.It's a little thinner than the original, but I expected that. There were no instructions,but it was pretty easy to replace, regardless. I just watched a generic YouTube video to verify that I was doing it right. I used the tools provided and a blow dryer to soften the glue.It took 2 weeks to arrive. We have multiple kids with these tablets, so I will be ordering another to have on standby for the next inevitable screen breakage.I replaced the screen of the pink tablet. Purple has the original screen.
