It doesn’t work. The instructions are misleading. It actually does show how to do the replacement. Don’t buy it! Don’t follow the steps. You won’t be able to put it back!

Vous ne pouvez pas faire la répartition avec le matériel vendu dans ce package. Il manque la partie Touch à l’écran. Vous ne pouvez pas la prendre de l’écran d’origine, car il y a extrêmement trop de colle et le Touch se brise . Il faut acheter les package à 180$ environ pour avoir tous les morceaux.

No complaints about the kit itself. It is as advertised. HOWEVER: Watch the how-to videos on YouTube (many available) before you try - in fact before you even order. My model 1673 repair was a fail. My screen was completely shattered so so it would not come off in one piece like the videos show. I was peeling off a few shards at a time while applying heat from a heat gun. In the process, the home button's wiring was damaged as was the LCD. At that point I realized it was game over and returned this item unused. Honestly, given the large amount of factory adhesive on my unit I'm not real confident the repair would have worked for even a simple crack. So in retrospect, I would first watch the videos, then try getting the broken screen off, and if that works, order up this kit. I would also think long and hard about letting a professional repair shop handle this one. There are a lot of little things that can go wrong.

Did not come with Tools. I have them in my shop so I tried to make do. Like another reviewer, did not fix problem because LCD came apart with the old glass so was useless to me. Going to have to order the entire assembly now.
