Why the new screen includes Home button, but Touch ID will likely be non-functional? The Home button will still work for navigation.

Quality of this item is great. I was able to replace the screen on my sons iPad. The hardest part was removing the shattered screen. I would definitely recommend. The new screen looks and works just like the old screen.
