digitizer didn't work, home button worked , tried to connect and reconnect several times-another brand that I tried just afterwards worked fine. Ordered prior to screen break , so past the return window and out the purchase price. I've replaced over a dozen screens before so it's certain that this product was defective.

Over all quality of the screen is good, easy to install, all tools needed were supplied, however I’m glad I did a function check before sealing it up because the home button was inoperable. I had to salvage the home button off of the original broken glass and carefully remove the new one without scraping through the paint. Had the home button worked right I would have went 5 stars but the function is important considering how easy it is to damage the original ribbon cable during removal. And when I say inoperable, I mean the new home button wouldn’t register anything when being depressed, nothing digital and no feel of action when depressed.

The first screen I got looked good, but had issues with the touch sensing (it had "ghost" touches), so it was returned and a replacement was ordered. The replacement worked great.The included tools were OK, the screwdriver was decent, and the metal prying tool is extremely helpful when working on these iPads. However the black plastic pry tool was not very helpful because it was too bendy to be of any use with the strong glue that is used to hold the screen on.As it says in the description, the new home button did not have Touch ID, so be aware of that when buying.Overall good product if you get one that's not defective.

It was $175 to have this done at my local computer store. I think I paid less than $30 and with the clear instructions and videos, I was able to replace this without any issues. It was my first and I was very happy it worked.

Glass was not good quality - looks slight hazy not sharp and the screen protector arrived cracked.
