I purched two other replacement screens from two separate other vendors before I bought this one. This screen was a bit more expensive, but for an extra 7 or 8 dollars, it was definitely worth it.This screen was carefully packaged, and had everything I need to replace the screen myself. I followed the instructions but supplied in the package as well as the video from using their QR code printed in the instructions.I was happy to find an included screen protector, a roll of double sided tape, (which I did not need thanks to the pre-installed adhesive on the replacement screen) tools, and an pre-installed home button on the screen.I had carefully removed the original home button from the broken screen, so I replaced the new one with the old button (the old button has the fingerprint reader, the new one does not.).Excellent instructions, follow along and you won't be disappointed.Some tips I learned along the way: keep the LCD screen clean. The broken shards from the original digitizer may have caused some scratches to the very soft LCD. I used a Q-tip with alcohol to gently remove some of the very tiny glass shards, and that helped keep it from getting too much Korean scratched.Also, if you have cloth or latex gloves, using them will help keep oily fingerprint from getting on the LCD. I found out my fingerprints were EXTREMELY frustrating to eliminate from the LCD. I think I spent more time cleaning the LCD, than the actual repair.Finally, go slow, keep the microscopic screews on a magnet, or in a jar, or something to keep them from being lost. They are VERY small and I would expect them to be difficult to replace if lost.This is not a beginners task to replace this screen. I have replaced only a few other screens for devices, both for cellphones and tablets, and this one took a LONG time for me. I consider myself very amature at replacing screens, and this was a SLOW and frustrating process.Do not be deterred by my difficulties however. I am older, have terrible eyesight, and my hands shake. I just went VERY slow and didn't force anything. If you have decent eyesight and a steady hand, this should be easier than my experience.Good luck! I highly recommend this product.

The screen and included instructions are excellent. Make sure you watch the install video twice and the install will be a breeze. I made a critical error when initially installing and the vendor provided me with top tier support and I am thankful for that. You will not regret buying this product.

Great product and even better customer service.When installing the new screen I damaged one of the cables.I contacted them and they immediately helped me with this issue. I watched alot of youtube videos before trying this and the links they provide you give even more detailed instructions.

Amazing product! It took longer than I expected to install (because I did not know what I was doing and I have three little kids distracting me) but torally saved my iPad! I took my iPad to a repair shop and it was going to be $200 for a new screen. $25 is a much better price, and they include a screen protector too!Excellent product and customer service!

First seeing this I couldn’t believe I’d have the chance to replace my IPad screen myself. Once I received and opened the package I noticed it was nicely packed and protected. A major concern is when it’s being delivered and it has the possibility of being broken so seeing the package put me at ease. The video that was shown with the picture for the product helped a lot.Taking off my iPad screen was a bit of a struggle due to it being shattered. They supply you with all the tools you will need and it includes a razor that was the most handy when taking the screen off. What made this hard was if your screen is cracked all the way to the top or edges of your iPad, it won’t slide smoothly and might cause your broken screen to break more but it will come off eventually. Patience.Once I got the main screen off it turned into a breeze. Easy installation for the new screen and the tools provided help ease the cleaning part of getting the only glue off. Take your time and it will be good as new. I replaced it and there was no ghost touch or a black screen, just good as new. 9/10.

I was a bit in doubt if I would be able to replace my ipad 9th gen screen which was cracked badly. I watched the video provided with the product and at the end I did it. You want notice a difference between the original one and this one. I used a heat gun instead of a hair dryer and after 5-10 mins all the edges came out easily. The manual a not clear for me so I watched the video a few times. Apart from the heat gun, all the tools provided was enough to get the screen changed.

It took me a while to remove the shattered screen, but after that, it was easy to install the new screen.The heat gun was helpful, but please be careful not to overheat it before you damage the LCD screen behind the broken screen. Simply warm the top edges where the glue or adhesive is.

My kids brake their iPad screens easily ~!@#$This digitizer replacement works perfectly! The replacement process is not too hard. However, it took me much longer time to remove previously broken glass. I had to do a careful and clean job. Make sure doing the work with rubber gloves. I got a small glass splinter thrust into my palm and causing bleeding. Vacuume regularly to remove the small splinters from the device and table.Note: the home button coming with this replacement kit doesn't support fingerprint ID. I had to move the original home button to this digitizer.

Replaced my cracked digitizer. Use a hardryer to melt glue on edges. Be careful when using razor to remove old digitizer, I scratched inside screen very slightly. Be aware touch ID will not work unless you replace home button, but apparently this is risky and I did not both. I never turned ipad off when install screen, something happened and screen was just blank when installed screen. I found a video which said when this happens disconnect battery for few second and reconnect. Luckily this worked for me, but was a bit scary. I recommend following instructions and cutting off power before unplugging and replugging screen and digitizer.

This screen works really well!! I love it my son’s iPad was destroyed!! So it was hard for me to remove the screen it had on but once I did and cleaned the glue really well I installed this one and it fit perfectly no bumps or anything it looks brand new again! Instructions to install were useful and easy to understand! It comes with a kit to help you open the iPad and install the new screen which were extremely helpful. Also customer service is THE BEST very responsive and helpful! It took me maybe 30 minutes to change the screen (because I had many tiny broken glasses) but sooo worth the money! And it comes with a screen protector!! It is worth every single penny spent! Looks very durable and my son is loving itAddindg the before and after pics of my son’s iPad. ( We did end up cracking a bit the screen during installation but customer service is the best and is sending us a new one in couple days which we are so thankful bc it was our mistake since they warned on the video not to press to hard when putting the screen which we obviously did) 😅Best screen thank you!!!!

Great instructional video, I was happy the kit included everything you will need to remove and replace your old screen. Only knock would be there were no instructions on how to transfer and retain your touch ID from the original screen. Screen works perfect, I just hope the glass is as good a the original. Overall, very satisfied with the kit.

Auch wenn einige der anderen Kommentare anderes vermuten lassen, ist das Aufbringen des Displays absolut machbar. Auch ohne Vorerfahrung.Bezüglich gewünschter in den Bewertungen Anleitungsvideos: Es gibt einige im Internet. Mit denen kann man das ganz ohne Probleme ersetzen, auch wenn man ein iPad noch nie von innen gesehen hat.Auch die Kritik, dass es brüchig/leicht zu brechen wäre kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Es sollte recht klar sein, dass ein dünner Touchscreen nicht extreme Kräfte abkann. Allerdings bricht er bei halbwegs vorsichtiger Handhabung NICHT.Als kleiner Kritikpunkt könnte man nennen, dass der Homebutton bereits eingeklebt ist und man ihn erst entfernen muss, wenn man den alten Homebutton mit Touch-ID verwenden will (übrigens auch nicht so tragisch wie manchmal behauptet). Der Homebutton lässt sich allerdings entfernen und mittels originaler Klammer der alte Humebutton verwenden.

Die Qualität ist in Ordnung, der Saugnapf hatte keinen Metallring (vergessen?)Dafür war eine Rolle spezielles doppelseitiges Klebeband enthalten.Obwohl ich vorher alle alten Klebereste restlos entfernt habe, hielt das neue Display nicht im Rahmen.Ich habe das mitgelieferte Klebeband verwendet, und hoffe das es jetzt hält.Anleitung lässt sich hier in dem Artikel nicht im Bild finden. Versteh nicht warum man nicht einfach einen Link zum Youtoube Video in die Beschreibung setzt, würde die Suche erleichtern.Da die Anleitung sehr kurz gehalten ist, habe ich die Anleitung von de.iFixit verwendet.Damit klappt der Ein/Ausbau super!Ich habe übrigens den aktuelle Home-Button (wegen Touch-ID) weiter verwendet.
