It is designed to fit over an existing or new wood 4x4 (actual 3.5"x3.5") post, or can fit over many no-dig supports of similar dimensions. If your mailboxes are secured to any type of wood 4x4 configuration, you can modify it by cutting it to a straight up 52" height or less to accept The Handy Post for 4. The Handy Post for 4 is designed to accommodate four different mailboxes up to 10.5" wide each on one post. Each arm extends 25" from the vertical upright and will accommodate up to 50lbs with no sag. This aesthetically pleasing, economical product will enhance any housing, business or neighborhood property. The Handy Post for 4 will add character to any setting. Keep in mind a a 4x4 will go in the post, but not the arms. I usually add small prices of wood in the arms to be able make a better base for mailboxes to attach.

Finished setup looks great. Have had several compliments. Attaching the boxes is really the only job but will never rot ever.
