We have only used this a few times, first on Thanksgiving to keep our food warm which did work but we did have to have it on the highest setting. We used again when we did a taco bar to keep the cheese warm and meat warm which worked better since we had smaller portions. I think if you are trying to keep large portions, this won't work as well.

I’ve been using this food warmer for couple months now and I really like it because it’s easy to use. It’s really big and seems safe. I love the multiple temperature settings. It’s great to not have to get sterno cans out along with an entire chafing set. This is a good alternative.I’m only removing a star because the numerous misspellings on the product and the poor user guide. This is not impacting the functionality, but it does affect my perception of the product quality and causes me concern that there may be issues in the future if the attention to detail on things like spelling, and proper English were not given due consideration. I gave this handy mat to my sister as hostess gift for Thanksgiving. She fit so many things on this mat is was really surprising. Great heat, variable settings. I wish the temperature settings were Fahrenheit but it’s easy enough to figure out. Stores beautifully. Highly recommend!

I love the size of this warming mat. I have another from a different brand, but this one is bigger. We use this when we are hosting, as it keeps food warm (not hot). But I've found that the little fire things tend to dry out food. This is great for defrosting food, putting food on here to keep warm and more. Easy to roll up and put away after company leaves. Even more importantly, easy to clean/wipe down.

Was finally able to retire the old ugly food warming trays I inherited from my mom that looked like they were made in the 50’s. This is large , modern, easy to clean and had room for 4 casserole dishes and platters . Great find
