My challenge when making dinner for friends or family is courses. I find it tricky, especially with a smaller kitchen, to time my food so things come out warm when it is ready to be served. This mat helps a lot wherein I can put a pot or dish on top of this to keep the food warm while I prepare a side or something else. Various settings and rollability make this a versatile tool that takes up very little space when not in use. Seems well constructed, is easy to clean. Great tool to have in any kitchen.

I used this to keep (20 lbs in a tin tray) mashed potatoes warm and it worked great! Just make sure you give it a stir! It held one extra large tray nicely. It won't fit much more. After a company luncheon everyone agreed that you should probably get 2.

This product worked great leaving my many holiday dishes warmed and ready for the table when it was time to eat. Less stress doing holiday meals. Love it and highly recommend it!

This food warmer comes very well packaged. We ordered it for when we bring food dishes to our church potlucks that are not in a pot. The underside is raised by design so as to not let the surface this is sitting on get too hot (see picture). Also see picture with warning labels in reference to the temperature. I like the ease of being able to set and see the temperature on the electronic strip on the right side of the mat. Controls are very intuitive. We have tested it by keeping our dishes warm while making pancakes for breakfast. The pancakes stayed warm for everyone. I forgot to take a picture of this. I foresee using this at home when serving multiple people as a way to warm their plates before serving, and to keep them warm so we can serve all of them warm food at the same time. The only drawback that I see is it will keep 4 regular size dinner plates warm but would have been nice to be a little larger so as to keep six plates warm at the same time. Hence why 4 stars instead of five stars.
