The fruit and vegetable mill comes with 3 interchangeable stainless steel disks in fine, medium and coarse: The fine disc is good for jelly, baby food, and creamy sauces, medium is good for applesauce and vegetable soup, coarse works well for chunky sauces.

Works really well. Crank turns smoothly. Nice to have the different straining sizes and the stainless steel bowl is a nice addition that most strainers do not include.

I've used this dozens of times this summer to make blackberry jelly. It's easy to use as well as easy to take apart and clean. Great quality. Three different size sieves. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

The Food Mill came with 3 mill disc sizes for thickness of strained food desired. Also came with a handy 2.5-3qt bowl with silicone handle grip and bottom. Nice.My goal was to sieve tomatoes for seedless and skinless sauce. It did that after quite a lot of time.Easy to assemble, but. ***Seat the hand crank tabs securely or you'll end up with the unit snapping apart and tomatoes on the walls and ceiling, taking 45 more minutes than planned, to clean it up.

Loved it when it first came in. I was looking forward to using it for the first time.Well, I used it and was severely disappointed. It was difficult to set up, once I put my fruit in, it was very hard to turn. I could hear the stainless steel scraping on each other, the middle rack that holds the blade wobbled and didn't function.I gave up on trying to use the blade and just pressed the juice out, leaving a lot of product behind.Very disappointedBut I'll give it another go soon before abandoning it, the blade, to the junk draw.Gave it another shot! OMG, I'm so embarrassed him, lol. I was using it with the screen upside down.It's working greatChange my rating from two to four!

Welp, this product sat on my counter too long and I missed the return deadline. It is quite wobbly. The bar does not sit securely in the main strainer. When you turn it, it wobbles around and is prone to the whole thing snapping apart and spraying whatever you have in it all over.Perhaps mine was defective, but it was a MESS.

I've been using my Grandmother's 100 year old aluminum food mill for over 50 years more for sentimentality than anything. It was time to buy a new one! This one is top quality! It comes with many different pieces to adjust how fine you want to strain as well as a fantastic handled bowl with a spout for easy pouring as well as a spatula. It works and looks great. It cleans easily in the dishwasher. It's the perfect size too. I use it to make my tomato sauce every Sunday. I highly recommend!
