I have used this type of backup site for decades. I was excited to try Ozarks as a low cost alternative to the more expensive options. I am sad to report that the front post snapped off at my first attempt to zero my rifle. I would judge the fit, finish and quality of materials to be severely lacking. Spend a little more and buy a domestically produced model.

Great, inexpensive solution for accurate backup sights. Those plastic sights just don't work well in the field. When your primary sight goes down you still need to make an accurate shot. These sights co-witness well and are spot on when used with a thin front sight post.

Rating this product with a 4 star review because the first set I was sent both the rear ring and front post were slightly canted with a bit of wiggle to them but Ozark has good customer service and sent me another set right away free of shipping and before I had even shipped the first set back. The second set I received locked into place tight and were perfectly straight. Imo these are one of the best flip-up iron sight options on the market that are affordable and of good quality.

These are very accurate right out of the box for super cheap iron sights, they look very nice overall, and are pretty high quality in terms of materials and finish work.

Installed on Beretta PMX and they performed flawlessly at the range, great low cost iron sights. Marine Vet approved.

I have a couple of Ozark Armament AR accessories. Generally, I do not rely on them as my primary tools, but more secondary. As an example, I have their offset fixed sights on my 6.5 Grendel hunting AR and they have not failed me once at close distance or in the fog. These flip up sights have three major issues going against them. One, they are bulky. If you have ever used an MBUS pop up sight you know those lay flush and have nice curved edges. These are square and actually sit wider on the rail than most sights. Two, they can be stiff. My rear sight does not require that much pressure on the button to pop up, but the front sight I literally have jam on the button or hit it to get it to flip. It is not an issue of how tight it is because I have tried it on and off the rail. It just doesn't want flip up much. Despite that they still work and hold a zero. The MBUS design is ambidextrous and utilizes a tabbed pull down to flip the sight making it easy. These use one button on the left side which again can be stiff.Three, the rear sight has the smaller sight hole for precision as well as the larger sight hole for limited visibility/CQB. The problem with that is that the sight flips to change between the two, and it is at a 90 degree angle. On my rifle, if you have it flipped to the precision sight you cannot flip the sign back down and lock it. Depending on some of their variations the flip sights, the sight holes have a different angle which allow for it to work or they offset the rear sight to sit higher off the rifle.Still a solid product, but I prefer my red dot over these. Again, these are a secondary and I am not relying on them as my first means of target acquisition.

Wanted an inexpensive set of metal backup sights for a plinking rifle (didn't want plastic sights) so for $30/pair I took a chance on these. They appear to be aluminum and surprisingly quite well made for the price. Bases are solid and and overall construction is very good. They are a bit heftier than I expected, not necessarily a bad thing. There is no wobble when sights are deployed (raised). Sights are spring-loaded, so push the button & they pop up and lock. Then push the button and manually push the sight back down where they again lock in the down position. The front sight I got was perfect - no issues. The rear sight, however, was badly canted to the side when tightened onto the rail. The sight base was not machined correctly. OK, for the price I never expected "Tier 1" quality sights, but I do expect them to line up straight. I contacted the seller via Amazon (email) one evening around 9PM, included a few pics of the crooked sight mounted to the gun & hoped for a reply within a day or two. WRONG! I literally got a reply back within 10 minutes from the seller!!! Awesome! They apologized for the issue, asked for a few more details and promised to send a replacement rear sight out the next day - and they did. Three days later I had the new rear sight, mounted it and it was as nice & straight as the front. Product problems happen, but the customer service of Ozark Armament was OUTSTANDING! Kudos to them. The only real gripe I have with these sights is that the adjustment knob for the rear has no detectable detents when adjusting. There is some resistance/stiffness when turning, but no solid "click" lock the adjustment. Time will tell if this will be a problem, but for now I just put a small dab of paint on the knob & sight tower so I can visually see if the alignment shifts. Wouldn't hesitate to order again for another plinker/range toy.
