I was looking for a sight for my 12 guage shotpew I’ve had good luck with Monstrum on a couple of pews so I thought I’d give this one a try and see how it holds up.The sight is built well and feels like it will hold up to a reasonable amount of rough handling. It’s not an Eotech!! I don’t expect a milspec level of quality at this price point. I’m using it on a house shotpew so it’s not going to get banged around too much. I bore-sighted it and after some moderate tapping it seems to hold up ok. I’ll update after putting a box or 2 of 2 3/4” pewslugs down range getting it zeroed. The shake awake function was a need, as I don’t want to be fumbling for buttons in the event that I need it quickly . After a few exercises, target acquisition is pretty easy. A bit more work and it will be a bit quicker than the ghost ring sights on my shot pew.A word about blurriness. With almost all electronic optics, blurring can be an issue. Often this is due to your vision. If you have an astigmatism this can cause the issue, as can progressive lenses. If your wearing progressive lenses try tilting your head down to look through the upper part if the glasses. It often resolves the issue for me. You should also try turning down the brightness a bit to see if this helps.Overall first impressions are positive. It does what it’s supposed to without much fuss. Hopefully it will hold up and hold zero. I’ll let you know.

Original post was deleted, but holds zero on an AR15 platform pistol. Hopefully this edit makes it. Not sure why this is so heavily censored when the product is intended for some kind of guns. Anyway, for 30 bucks it's a good buy. Very durable, and held zero once it was zeroed. The adjustable turrets are a bit mushy.

Easy to install and zero, but the window is smaller than other competing red dots and has a noticable tint compared to other red dots at this price point, although the automatic turn off feature is nice and the buttons are easy to access and control.

Monstrum is my go-to for budget-friendly stuff. Always well packaged and everything isn't perfect but for the price you can't beat their stuff. This is a nice well-built Red Dot I'd recommend it!!

Ok I hear people have issues with the shake awake feature...I did at first too...directions don't say but/ if you turn it off by the( - down) button you are turning off the shake awake feature. The red dot will remain in awake feature as long as you don't hold down the -button ...and it shuts down in @ 12 minutes not the hour in instructions. So no need for support....but they could send better instructions.
