BURRIS FASTFIRE C INTELLIGENT AUTO BRIGHT The integrated control circuit adjusts the brightness of the aiming dot according to surrounding light levels. The brightness sensor dectects the light level in the direction of the target and modifies the intensity of the dot accordingly so that it is not overpowering in low light while remaining highly visible in bright daylight. When holstered, or stored, the optic goes into an ultra-low brightness setting, saving the battery for when you need it! Bringing your firearm up to ready, instantly brings the dot back to the optimal level! Be careful not to obstruct the sensor. Clean if necessary. If you wish to check its function, cover the sensor. The Fastfire C works for the following Handguns: Springfield Hellcat, Sig Sauer P365, S&W Shield Plus, Ruger MAX 9, Glock 43/43x/48MOS, CZ P-10 S, Stoeger STR-9, Beretta 80x Cheetah and CZ P-09 C Nocturne.

Direct bolt on to a Glock 48 MOS. Very bright and installed in moments. Comes with an assortment of screws to fit your application.

I have never been disappointed with a Burris product, and I’ve owned several. Don’t worry about the “auto” setting, it works very well! Holding zero on a 9mm double stack 1911.

First time using a dot optic. Was easy to zero using my Triumph Systems Laser Bore-sight.At first it was taking me too long to get the Dot into view. Then I tried holding Pistol closer vs arm's-length, now it comes right into sight. The auto-brightness seems to work well. My Kimber R7 Mako has and RMSc cut-out, this said it fit. It fit perfectly. I removed the included rear-Sights as it co-witnesses with mine just fine. At lower brightness, the dot seems smaller. The Dot is sharp. And the price was so low when I bought it.

I have a bad astigmatism and finding optics is not easy. I have bought several, one in particular which was supposed to be perfect for astigmatism and it was horrible for me. Someone at the big box sporting goods store suggested I try Burris. The price was right so I gave it a try. All of them work and Burris customer service was excellent.Easy to use, hold a zero and well made. No matter which one you choose you should be happy. As a matter of fact I took my pistol for some work to a gunsmith and when he was done he mentioned that he never saw one mounted as most pistols come in with the ultra high end optics, and really liked it.

Does not hold zero after several rounds, red “dot” is blown out and almost gives two points of aim. Contacted customer service, took them 3 days to respond just to tell me to mail it to them and to expect it back in 5-6 weeks. That’s if when they receive it, they take ownership and actually do what’s right. I’m not willing to take that chance after spending $200.The packaging was nice and adjustability was a good touch, but what is the point of any of that if it cant hold zero after setting. I would understand if after 250 rounds I would have to readjust windage, but after 4 rounds on the Hellcat Pro Comp with a reduced recoil system, not worth it in my experience.

I love the small size with the large window. It’s made of reinforced polymer and feels very strong. I did not need to adjust it. When I put it on my pistol it was dead on. It is bright and has both auto brightness and set brightness modes. You can also turn the unit off entirely if you’re storing the pistol. The red dot is a perfect size, not too small or too big. My only gripe is the activation button. I find myself pressing it inadvertently when racking a round. But you can do that without hitting the button. Depending on how you carry the pistol you could accidentally press the button while carrying. That would turn off the unit if you have it set to the last on setting which is auto brightness. The next press is off.I do recommend it. It’s great red dot with a good price.

I am an old-timer (real years and red-dot years), having bought an Aimpoint (stupid heavy and big) way back when. That cured me of holographic sights for sometime, but aging eyes made me try again, with Burris Fastfire--not this one, the previous ones. More recently, the Vortex Defender CCW, much tougher than the flimsy Fastfires. All my prior dots were somewhere around 3 moa, so I was wary of a 6 moa dot, but this C not only looked tough, it also fit directly on my new P322. And the price was right. Turned out to be so good, I moved it to my Buck Mark (replacing a not-too-bad Crimson Trace). The "always on" tech beats the "shake awake" by a country mile. The dot is certainly good out to 15 or 20 meters (the distance I shoot pistols). Windage/elevation screws use a very small flat screwdriver, and work OK. Have not had trouble with inadvertent settings change. Although I want tritium iron sights for EDC and bedside, this is the only dot I would use at the range. One gripe: the glass is not receded enough at the front (Burris should look at the Vortex Defender) so it gets smudged too easily.
