While certainly better than nothing I ran into a couple issues trying to use this little guy.First issue was that for many of my setups it was too thick top to bottom to fit between the top of the picitinny rail and the bottom of the scope. This was especially true of one piece mounts, but even just on rails most of the setups I tried it on it would not fit, and I don't mount my scopes particularly low since most of my rifles have adjustable cheek pieces. It probably would work well on AR's with individual rings (like Fix It Stick's video uses as an example) because that application requires very tall rings.Second issue has more to do with how accurate do you want to be, it's well known in the precision rifle world that often reticles in the scope itself can be off 1-2 degrees from the scope body itself, and there's also the ability for error in how precisely machined both the picatinny rail is and the clamp on the unit. This is why those that use feeler gauges to install scopes usually verify and perhaps make small adjustments at the range later.If it happens to fit, and if you are not shooting long distances it's pretty fast/easy to use, but beyond that it's quite expensive for something that would not fit the vast majority of my setups, and that you still need to verify at the range.

Wish I would have bought this much sooner. By far this is the easiest and most accurate way to ensure your reticle is level while mounting a scope. Nothing to clamp to the barrel. Fits perfectly in an empty slot even under a 34mm tube and low rings, plenty of room to mount it and remove it. Takes seconds to put on and take off. Levels are very accurate and easy to read. Worth every penny.

I’ve used Wheeler’s double-magnet levels, some aluminium angles that are *supposed* to square off the bottom of a scope, and a plumb line; but this product has given me the fastest and most accurate scope-leveling as well as muzzle-break timing.

Fix it sticks earned my trust with their inch pound torque wrench set that I use in building or modifying many different firearms. This little scope leveling kit is another amazing quality tool in the arsenal. I verified the levels were accurate with a high end torpedo level I use for work and was satisfied they were spot on. Makes leveling your scope an absolute breeze. Not surprisingly discovered most of my other optics were not perfectly level. They are now. Confidence in long range up 1000%. These bubble levels work great. I was able to level my new scope on a rifle in about 2 minutes. I keep them in my range bag just in case I need to quickly check the scope's level (in case my shots are all over the place and I don't want to blame myself for my poor shooting). These are pricey, yes, but the quality, fit and finish, and functionality are leagues better than the cheapo levels sold by other companies.

If you want to spent 40 bucks to level a scope this is for you so long as you have a good amount of pick rail under said scope and it is not mounted low. Won't work with a dedicated cantilever mount. The same job can be done with three spirit levels and five minutes for under 5 dollars by yourself, or 2 levels and 2 minutes with a buddy. One spirit level and a plumb line. A sharpie, a compass and a wall, a gunner's quadrant and a straight edge, dental floss a nail and math. If your using two rings, have enough rail and $40 you don't need, more power to you.Seriously, it's a pretty cool gadget.
