The holes lined up great and the set screws hold the base tight. It was an easy install

I got this item as described with great shipping! The first one I bought was the long one and it did not match up to the screw holes. After I did a return I ordered the short rail and it fits perfectly! Now I can put a scope on my rifle now!

You can pay a lot for a scope base and while this isn't the least expensive it is reasonably priced. I put this on a Howa build and have shot hundreds of rounds with this mount and it has performed consistently and perfectly. The rifle is a .5 to .6 MOA shooter. This scope rail is doing its part.

Accu-Smith Gunsmithing in Cypress TX: Anything Talley turns out is good quality. This 20MOA rail went on a customer's Howa 1500 hunting rifle. 300WSM. By no means a competition rig, but the customer had a scope that was overkill for the rifle. He had no idea that high magnification optics typically don't have a great deal of adjustment. This rail allowed plenty of clearance to zero at 100 and possibly drive out to 700+...which he never will. Nice to know you can use your whole range of elevation instead of only half or less. Point is, stock rifle, stock sloppy tolerances, etc...this is an aluminum rail and will do the job perfectly. Be sure to check the clearance under the rear of the receiver as with any rail or mounting setup. May have to bed or shim as necessary. This particular rifle was off by .050! So take your time and set it up right. Talley will do the rest.
