It works fine, but it's sometimes difficult to keep it attached to the rifle while I try to level the scope. A small piece of double sided tape solved the problem however. I like the product and highly recommend it.

I needed a relatively small bubble level to keep around the house for hanging non-bulky items or pictures, etc. I saw this item come up and it satisfies that need. I'm not sure how good it is for its original intention but as generic bubble level it works great.

I have always had these mini bubble levels in the past to level my scope, but the magnets on these definitely help and makes life a lot easier. Nice and compact (I would put pictures on how they are used, but amazon will strike it down), but fits well on the adjustment caps of pic rail no problem. They don't take up much room, so they will fit in a small tool box too. I actually keep them magnetized to the outside of my safe and they are always there.

Not very precise. The bubbles are different size to begin with, then they do not match level. Might not seem off by much, but when the purpose is a precision tool, precision is kind of important. One of the tubes shifted when I check to see if it was seated properly. Also, I guess it is relative, but the strength of the magnet was pretty below average. You know, if you have never seen a magnet before, you may think this is strong. I have refrigerator magnets that are 5 times stronger. Cool concept, but the execution isn't worth $2. Waste of time.

If you're looking for a magnetic scope level then this unit has you covered. It is a simple device and is built well and precise. This unit is a 2 piece set. If you're looking for a simple manual scope level then this is an excellent choice.

Because a lot of scopes are aluminum, the magnetic idea doesn't work as well as it should. Some kind of double-sided tape might help with that part.Unfortunately the two bubble levels were not aligned. So I don't know which one is correct but they can't both be. They're not horribly off but the whole point is for them to match.The machining visibly looks good. But, it doesn't do the main function it was made for.I do think I can still use this to get my rifle or crossbow mostly level and correct cant issues. But for exact alignment, this is not the tool.
