I just got into serious fishing, to the point that I started keeping fishing gear in my work van. The knife will need an edge put on it which is to be expected. The pliers and pouch are probably my favorite, just mount them to your belt. Haven't used the dehooker, just used the pliers. The towel is very large and soft, I let it hang out my back pocket to make it easy to wipe my hands off. The grabbing thing is what pulled this carp up out of the water on a dock.My brother that has been a tried and true fisherman since he was a kid was impressed with everything except for the dull knife.
