The gift box is a nice touch but everything doesn't fit in the box, which I noticed when the journal (which is really nice looking) fell on my foot before I even opened the black gift box. Everything is wrapped in plastic inside except for the cup which is in a box. The gift box filler (which is black) is also enclosed in plastic wrap. So if you are thinking of sending this as a long distance gift to someone just be aware, it will not arrive as a ready to present as a present gift box. The contents are presented as shown and discussed on the product page. The socks are a bit scratchy and have some loose strings (from the outside design) on the inside of them and they have some stretch but a lot. The face mask has a slight odor but letting it sit out for some air helped. It and the arm bands have quite a bit of stretch and I've wider arms which they didn't feel tight or leave marks after I wore them. The tools were solid in that they opened closed and I wasn't afraid to use them thinking they might break. The cup and hat are just that and while the cup is a bit slippery for my klutzy self and likely be in the water before I got my first sip, it again looks like it can take a thump. I've a bit head and the hat fits, it's also slightly adjustable. We are a family of people who fish, this is a perfect gift set for those who enjoy the sport.
