Was hoping for something a little more colorful but unfortunately the colors are lacking. Even by using multiple packets we were disappointed in the output.

I see this only as a novelty item and nothing I would be interested in getting again. The packets do work, and I found it interesting to watch it change the fire change different colors, but the effect only lasts a couple minutes. I found it several orders of magnitude below watching a fireworks display.

I love to toss a few of these into the fire pit and watch the colors change. They're easy to use- just pitch the whole packet in. The effect doesn't last as long as I'd like, but it's fun while it's happening.
