I loved it until the magnets stopped working and it swings open on its own it's as level as I can make it.Fix the problem by putting a magnet right in the middle of it to hold the doors shut.I still like the look of it and it was the cheapest one I found with good reviews.I probably would buy it again but I may get the bigger size if I was to reorder it was exactly to fit for my fireplace and would have probably benefited from a little bit extra coverage or overlap.

I looooove this fireplace gate! It has elevated the look of our den so much. Shopped quickly and super easy to assemble. Fits perfectly in front of the fireplace. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend!

I bought this screen, along with electric logs, because I wanted to start enjoying a lighted fireplace without my cats getting into it. This is perfect because it has a magnetic latch.Since nothing in my house is level, I put some furniture coasters under the legs so the top of it would be flat against the fireplace. It really is well made and beautiful.

This is a great fireplace screen for the money. Some are into the hundreds of dollars but for something at this price range it’s well built, looks very nice and easy to assemble. It feels sturdy and not flimsy or cheap. I like how it lays flat against the fireplace opening and the doors are convenient access. I was split between a more traditional screen (the kind that folds out and arcs away) and this style, and I’m happy I went with this one. It’s sleek, saves space and aesthetically pleasing. Very happy with this!
