What can I say? It lays flat against the body. I reliced it and it cam out great but that also means that I did not care that much about the plating.It was a great value when I got it and as I said, it worked the way I wanted

First off, I did not want the fender logo on the plates I ordered.These plates are being used for strat style guitars that are notfender even though I do own many fender guitars.The plates are well made, and the hole pattern matches the guitars I amusing them on.This is a great price, for exactly what I wanted.

I think my biggest letdown was no Fender engraving on this one, but not a deal breaker. The plate is thick, which is obviously important. Plating is good, and holes are properly beveled and not too small. This allows them to accomodate different variations of screws, as I don't think this plate comes with them.My only issue probably has nothing to do with the plate but the body they are currently on, with the neck currently being used. The current screw holes seem to be too narrowly spaced in width (not length). This is a little odd, since the body seems to be cut for a slightly wider neck. But since the body is aftermarket and all this stuff varies and is a bit of a gamble until you measure everything, I can't really criticize the plate at all.
