The Floyd Rose Original Tremolo Lock Stop is installed in the tremolo spring cavity and has an adjustable screw that rests against the tremolo block. The lock stops the tremolo from being pulled up, allowing dive only movement, this ensures the tremolo always returns to the same position after bending, stabilizing the tuning, and stops the guitar going out of tune if a string breaks.

I have these guys on most of my guitars. To make sure the adjustment screw stays in place, I’ll either head down to my local hardware store and get a thin nut to lock the screw down (It’s metric but I don’t know the size.) or adjust my bridge, back the screw off a bit, add a drop of red LocTite and readjust the bridge. There are no sideways or rotating forces so the screw will not work loose.

The description says "Our shop 'music technology' supply only Genuine Floyd Rose parts, do not buy copies." The one I received is a definite copy unfortunately. Very poor.

This product is made in China it is loose the screw hangs in there loosely as it is, they’ve also instead of centering the whole they have it too high so it won’t really connect with your bridge the way it supposed to and might even be too high and in my case only half of it stops the floating bridge which is a very narrow margin, this is a USA a Jackson a Guitar there’s a supplier that has a better version of this on here and this was a complete waste of money

I did not like the fact that this product was listed under the floyd rose trademarked brand name,and when it arrived,it was not floyd rose brand. It was a generic brand. That was not ok with me. Still did the job, but falsely advertised under the floyd rose brand name.

This is a great way to lock down your Floyd rose bridge if you just want dive bombs, and or have a D Tuna. Once installed it stabilized the block which I'd you drop tune will stop the guitar going out of tune. One thing I added was a small nut to the end of the bolt to stop the treads ever moving

Ganz einfach: Die Teile passen nicht zusammen. In keiner Art und Weise war es möglich, den schwarzen Bolzen mit Gewinde in die Messingvorrichtung zu schrauben. Am Ende habe ich das Messingteil direkt an mein Floyd Rose Tremolo geschraubt. Das heißt, dass ich auch einfach einen Holzblock hätte verwenden können.
