I have used this fan clutch tool several times on other cars, and yeah it has some minor issues with it. Like one of the wrenches kept slipping of the pulley, and the wrench had a hard time trying to fit in a 2004 BMW 330. It got the job done. but it it took me longer on the job I was doing than I wanted to. At least it does come with a pouch to keep the wrench in, which is ok. I like the color of the handle, which it makes the tool easy to spot on the ground. The wrench is thick, but the metal could be more strong than it is. Function could use some work, like maybe small teeth so the wrench would stop slipping off the nut. Which drove me nuts and almost busted my knuckles, but for the money. I guess it was ok spent..

Wrench stripped out within 2 minutes. The other tool came without nuts to hold water pump. Don’t buy.

I was trying to use this tool and found that it seemed to ve slightly lose when putting it on the nut (2005 ford explorer fan clutch nut). Figured well this suv is pretty old and maybe slightly changed over the years from heating up and cooling down. Tried to work with it ans it started slipping almost immediately(wrench spreading even more). Got mad with it and went to a local store and got an OEM brand wrench(36mm) and fit perfectly. The bolt holder it came with would have worked great but is useless without the wrench. As seen in the pictures it is a sizeable difference between the OEM branded wrench vs this one. Will be returning and won't seek out this brand again. It gets a 2 star only because of the tool mentioned for holding the pulley still.

The tool works but not as easy as I would have liked. Slip the tool on the nut and smack it with a hammer, you may not need to use the water pump holder tool if your serpentine belt has enough tension. You will curse a few times.... but be patient and it is possible. Remember it is a reverse thread, clockwise loosens it.

Worked great breaking the fan loose. It came free and I busted my wrist! My fault, not the tools.
