I purchased two swim zip suits for my kids last summer. We got good use out of them, but we are in a landlocked state so it's not like we were in the water every day. My 3 year old wore his most often, at the water park or swim lessons. My 1 year old wore his less. The style of the swim short & short sleeve rash guard is so cute, and functional. My 3yo was comfortable in these. Pulling them out of our beach bag now, about 11 months after purchase, I'm really disappointed to see how much the color has faded. You can really tell when comparing it to my 1 year old's swimzip suit of the same print. For just one summer of normal use, I hoped the print color and vibrancy would've lasted longer. The first picture compares the two suits, the second picture is the swim zip rash guard from this set, and the last picture is the swimzip I have for my 1 year old.

I read all of the reviews and still went with my sons normal size. He wears a 2T in clothes but for swim he can still wear 18-24 months so I thought sticking with 2T it would work. It does fit him but seems a little snug. It is such a cute suit though so I will be returning and ordering a 3T!
