This tool makes removing as fan clutch much easier. The wrench is long enough to reach the mounting nut and clear the shroud and the holding tool keeps the pully from turning when attempting to loosen or tighten the clutch, even if the belt is removed.

Tools are heavy and seem robust - should last a long time.The wrench will work on the fan clutch but it does have a little play as others have noted.The tool to hold the water pump pulley, while loosening the fan clutch, does not fit the bolt pattern on my 1996 E36 328i. The holes are spaced too far on either end of it and I can only get one of the 10mm heads in the tool.I will fix this with a Dremel and open one the inner hole of the tool up a bit, so not a big deal but should be noted.

This tool worked very well for removing the radiator fan from the fan pulley assembly on my 08 Ram 3500 6.7 l diesel. It fit and was easier to use the more expensive kit. There may be some better, but for the price, this was a recommended purchase.

So the description said it does not fit a 97 f150 5.4, but my 97 f250 5.4 with the same body style and same motor it worked, the wrench fit the fan nut and the holder bar, I bolted on with 1 of the fan bolts and a 5/16" bolt x1" long. It was tight enough to hold the fan, and the wrench that is double sided, could fit a pipe on for enough leverage to loosen the fan. This is the best tool for the job. I would recommend to anyone with an older 97 f250 round body, lite duty pickup with a 5.4ltr

With the "Chromium Vanadium steel" and slick images you'd think these are forged tools. Nope. The images are all computer generated. These are cast steel. The tools are quite heavy, have irregular edges and a grainy texture that is not in the photos. They make a dull sound when struck. All hallmarks of cast metal.The 32 mm wrench end is actually 33 mm, though the jaw is slanted slightly from being filed at an angle. The 36 mm end is just a hair larger than 36. The wrench jaws are offset, which can help if you're accessing the nut at an angle.The product photo specifies the wrench thickness as 1/4", which is correct.The wrench weighs 1.1 lbs (0.5 kg) and the holding bar weighs 11 oz (314 g).

This tool worked for my 2003 BMW 330I water pump fan. However, the quality of the tool left a bit to be desired. The fitment on the clutch fan nut was a little sloppy, but it did work the first time. I have used other tool brands which had no fitment issues. My concern is if there is a stuck clutch fan, these tools might round out or possibly round out the clutch fan nut. This wasn't the case this time, so it might be worth a shot. Just pay attention while using the tools and don't use too much torque.

This is a solid set of tools. It looks like more of a casting or pressing than polished chrome vanadium but they feel strong enough. I haven't used the tools on a fan yet but they look up to the job. They were well packaged in a foam lined cardboard box to stop them from being scratched during transit.My set came with a pair of white stretchy gloves. I think I will save those for inside glass work.
