This is a great rack to have to store/stack up your canvas. I use this for my backdrops of photos for my photography work. The weight hold well of over 12 thin canvas. Worth the money!

It’s a rubbish item; wanted to exhibit pictures in it - couldn’t assemble it. Am returning it.

This portable stand is light weight and easy to take to art fairs and other events where I need to showcase matted work. I like that it folds neatly into a slim size, allowing me to slip into the car. It's a quick set-up and take down, and it is sturdy enough on flat ground for people to flip through the artwork without it tipping over.

It works fine, but there needs to be one side shorter than the other so that as customers approach they can easily see the prints, and they can more easily flip through pictures. It was also a bit difficult to assemble, and did not close all the way, due to the fact that both sides are the same length. I returned it and bought another of the bins I have previously used, which has one side shorter, so it closes more completely flat.

This is a very cheaply made product for what you have to pay for it. First off, the instructions are next to useless: none of the pieces are labeled so you have to go by the pictures in the instructions to see which pieces are longer or shorter than others to figure out what each piece is. One of the tube pieces had a bent end so that the connecting piece would not fit into it, making it impossible to assemble. It took over a week of going back and forth with the company to get replacement pieces sent, and at one point they even wanted me to try to fix the bent piece myself to get it to work. When the replacement arrived, it was an entirely new unit instead of just the parts I needed, so they weren't even really paying attention to my messages, and I end up with a bunch of extra pieces that are of no use to me. Once I got the item assembled, I discovered that it is flimsy and does not stand evenly or stable when opened, and that after opening it and closing it a couple times the bolts holding the cross pieces together are already starting to work themselves loose, so I will have to tighten it back up after every single time I use it. This item would have been worth it if I had paid $10 for it, but for the price they are asking it is a piece of absolute junk.

If you can find a different art stand, buy that. I did end up putting mine together, over a 2-day period, but it was unnecessarily difficult, and would have been impossible without the right, extra tools. Here is my advice:1. Buy a different stand.2. If you buy this stand, be prepared to FIRST label, by yourself, all of the tall parts as 1, 2, 3, 4; then the thin ones 5 and 6.3. Mine came with a defective leg--it had been slightly smashed, so the other piece wouldn't fit into it. Luckily I'm a jeweler so had some very good, small pinch nose pliers that I used to open the hole. If I didn't have those, or the knowledge from jewelry-making on how to open a circle/ring, I would have had to send the whole thing back.4. You need to label the legs because not only are 1 (A) and 2 (B) different sizes, but it matters which way you cross them, or none of it fits together.5. Label the E parts 5 and 6. Again, it matters which one you put where, because one is longer than the other.6. If this confuses you, it should. The directions are really just not even useful and the whole thing unnecessarily difficult. That's why I don't recommend purchasing. But if you do manage to put it together, it's not a bad stand.

I love the product. It is just what I need for art shows. I read previous reviews, so I was expecting problems with assembly. The written directions are bad and the video shows the assembly in warp speed. I'd like to tell you the two things we learned that might make someone else's assembly easier. First: Our written directions did not indicate that the two main pair of legs had different length elbows. They're only about an inch different and it's hard to see the difference, but that is very important to the assembly. Second: The set of legs with the shorter elbow has to go on the inside of the other set of legs in order for the connecting rods to fit. It took us about an hour and a half to assemble making mistakes related to the above facts first. If you have all the info (which should have been made clear in the written or video direction), assembly is not too bad! Hope this helps someone. It should be a 20 minute job!

Thanks to all the comments on here I was hyper aware of this being difficult to assemble, so I double checked every step and did not find it too hard, just tricky. My biggest complaints are, it is wobbly when finished, no matter how I adjust it, it will not sit flat, and value for the money, nope, sorry, it is way over priced for what it is. I do like the portability of it, it's a nifty idea but either needs MUCH better quality or MUCH cheaper price tag. I will keep searching for a better product.
