We own two preschools with more than 200 children total. These are the best! Worth the cost.Tried several others, no comparison.

VERY difficult/annoying to assemble, and I love assembling furniture. The shelves have metal rods (with a white coating on them) that need to slide into metal slots that are connected to the springs. These metal slots have a catch on them that you're supposed to rotate out of the way to slide a shelf rod in, only they don't really rotate. You have to slightly bend them down and slightly bend the shelf up to get the shelf to actually slide all the way in, and that's assuming you can fit the shelf rods in at all considering there isn't a way to slide them in at the correct angle. Forcing the rods in scrapes the white coating off the shelf rods, making the most important part of the shelf susceptible to rust. Plus, the metal catches end up getting their coating slightly removed, too.Ignoring all of that though, the shelves slope to the right. The left side's base won't even touch the bottom of the rack unless pressure is applied from other shelves. Additionally, I had one shelf that was bent in two specific places that would imply someone else tried to install it. I don't think it's a used item as everything else was in great condition out of the box. I'm guessing someone in the factory tested it to make sure it fits first, and then packaged it up. But it's bent more than all the others, so it throws every other shelf off (and this is unrelated to all shelves sloping right).Overlooking all the flaws, it is functional, the spring-loaded mechanism works alright for each shelf, and it doesn't look *too* bad with the slightly bent shelf. I would say it'd be worth it if it cost around $50-70. At any higher price, it's definitely not worth the effort or cost unless you can't find any other option and absolutely need spring loaded shelves. I would return mine, but I get a message when attempting to return it saying the seller will review my return request and get back to me, and that uncertainty plus the amount of effort it would take to disassemble and repackage aren't worth it.

This rack is just what I needed. Super easy to assemble, with clear directions and separately packaged hardware for each step. The rack is sturdy, and the tension on the springs is just right. Each shelf stays wherever I put it, up, down or in between. And it holds a lot of art. Very happy with this purchase.

The drying rack works well and holds the artwork as it was described to. When tw box arrived, however, it didn't come with any mounting hardware or instructions. My husband was able to hang it with materials from his tool box, but it would have been nice if it had come with it's own mounting hardware that fit properly.

I just want to say that it is a great piece for people that want to use it for flat paintings or drawings. There is not much space between them, but enough for paper of board. I love it. It keeps all my little oil paintings until dry.

It's very heavy so you need to mount it where there's a stud in the wall, but it's very sturdy and holds lots of paper. At first I thought it was a little expensive but now I'm sure it's worth it. This will still be doing a great job of holding all my paper for a very long time.

So easy to install. 2 screws and it was done. Just had to open the box and screw it to the wall. The racks are a little smaller than what I had in mind. Holds paper very nicely, but nothing bigger.

I ordered one of these last year for a classroom and it was great and fulfilled the need we had for a drying rack in a small classroom. I have only one word of caution. Measure the spot where you plan to hang it and place a yard stick (or any flat surface) 16 inches from the wall to get a visual on how far it will extend into the room. The 16 inches is a great amount of drying space but we had to be really careful as to where we hung it in a small room so that it didn't cause a hazard, when extended, for teachers or students. The fold-up feature is very handy and makes the product more versatile and user-friendly. I highly recommend this product if you have just the right spot for it.
