I needed a rack that could hold and support my canvases. I ordered one at first, to test its functionality. I liked it and bought another!

For over 50 years, I have been assembling and putting things together. My vision is bad, and my dexterity has taken a major hit. This is badly constructed with damaged parts. I would blame myself, due to my aforementioned problems, BUT I also put another item together the same day. One item took about 1/2 hour and the other at least 3- 4 times as long. There has to be better options; I have already started looking

Using it for storing my paintings

As noted in other reviews this is very fiddly to assemble; the inserts are not well tapped or aligned making some screws difficult to tighten fully and leaving the poles not in a straight line. On mine, one pole could not be tightened and is permanently loose. But, on the plus side, it is perfect for storing my canvases.

This product was very poor quality. I couldn’t even assemble it as the pieces didn’t mesh.I had to send it back.

I will use this for holding cutting mats, foam board and drawing boards. The assembly for this art storage rack was very fiddly and difficult with the included hex wrench which, needed a longer length foot to reach the screws inside the tubes. It was difficult to hold onto everything while putting it together and the hex wrench kept falling out. I put it together with the poles over the small holes as directions indicated but, quickly found the vertical poles would loosen and wobble when touched. I disassembled it and put the vertical tubes through the large holes in the bottom side, screwed it through the small holes and they stayed in place. It works much better assembled upside down. If I have further issues with loosening vertical poles, I will have to add washers to prevent it. Also, this leaves the screw heads sticking out the bottom and I will have to add some stick on rubber bumpers to prevent marring surfaces and sliding around. I would have added those bumpers anyway for those reasons. It looks good, is compact at about 12.75"h x 15"d x 7.5"w with 2.25" between posts and holds quite a lot. The quality seems good but, assembly and the hex wrench could be better with, washers and bumpers for the bottom included for how much the rack is valued for.

It will work for what we need. You may or may not like the legs bent in various direction.
