Although the CD was found to be too old to read, but the product appearance level is very high, there should be no problem, may be the problem of the CD itself. Computer speed is also quite fast, go back and try others

This BlueBay DVD player sucks. It would not start until I downloaded and installed PowerDVD 23 software. Then, I must wait a minute to close it before I start my preferred VCL app. Sometimes, the DVD won't even start at all. A pop up says,"Oops! Your Version Doesn't Support This Feature. Upgrade to PowerDVD 23 Ultra and access all premium features."

This product plays DVD & CD's well. Finding a Blu-Ray App for a laptop is difficult unless are paying for a subscription for a Blu-Ray. I've tried it on several different Apps, but they wanted to charge a monthly fee to use their apps. The size is perfect and sound is pretty good.

This is a great portable disk drive. It’s great for carrying it in your brief case for laptop use on the fly. Great value.

According to instructions, you must download AnyDVD to change regions or play DVDs. The AnyDVD company is now defunct and their software doesn't work anymore. I couldn't get this player to play any DVDs or Blu Rays. I installed half a dozen 3rd party DVD software, and none of them worked.

This is a decent external drive. The build quality is good and feels durable enough for travel. The disc tray is also sturdy and does not flex easily. Overall read and write speeds are slightly lower than my other drives, but still decent performance and seems to be lower heat generation while in operation. The only two critiques I have on this drive are common ones for this style. Due to the cable being designed to tuck underneath the drive neatly, it may be a little short for some uses. For example, if placing this on top of a tower PC, an extension cable may be needed to bring it up front so it is easy to access. Sitting next to a laptop or mini pc however is generally fine.My other critique is somewhat common to find, and not just this one drive. DVD capable drives are being sold in the US but have their default DVD region codes set to 2 (~Europe/Japan/South Africa) instead of 1 (~North America). This is easy to fix as DVD drives allow up to four changes of this code in firmware via driver properties according to DVD standards, but it is a setting not many US customers may be aware of. Region 2 does allow playback of many DVD titles sold in the US, however there are occasions where a region 1 DVD does not allow playback on a region 2 drive and depending on the software being used, the error might be mistaken for a defective drive or disc.
