Have tried it with both Windows 11 and latest Mac OS and no issues. Based on the firmware, it does seem like an older drive and the model number that comes up doesn't match the label. That said, no issues using it for viewing disks.

Looks like the end-all-be-all for my CD/BD needs. It does the job, and let's be honest, these days there aren't too many of these jobs anymore. But on top of that, it's got lots of connectivity options, unlike a lot of other portable CD drives I've gotten in the past. And as a bonus, it's very portable since the cord hides away inside the unit.
