Measures the temperature rather well, at least it's in the right 'ballpark'.The humidity, on the other hand, i haven't checked the 'validity' of, - but the given value should also be near the actual value.It's quite important to put the sensor in the right spot, especially if a living thing is dependent of the right humidity-level.Do your 'Due Diligence' on the applicable 'subject' beforehand.

Utilizzato per incubatrice fiem, ottimo per monitorare e calibrare eventualmente la temperatura. Vale la pena spendere qualcosina in più per una misurazione accurata. Meglio di termoigrometri consigliati da altri siti/rivenditori allo stesso prezzo.

temperate and humidity are very close. not perfect but good +/-2 2 degrees / percent of humidity. I recommend for the housing of a crested gecko. avoid spraying water on this directly though. this is the second one i bought... i had one that lasted about 3 years! so worked well enough to make me want to buy another.

I have one that I use for ambient room readings for temp and humidity. Never had an issue with the data, looks "good enough for government work" to me, and aligns with other gear I have. Used one inside of an animal enclosure before, but switched to dedicated units because of snakes tendency to poop/pee on stuff, and replacing just a hygrometer is cheaper.

Works well, and doesn't take up much space. Seems to be accurate readings of both temperature and humidity levels. Slides right onto the top of my Exo Terro lid, and the coated wire is small enough to fit into the notch opening on the screen lid. Battery operated, so no additional plug ins needed. Would reccomend purchasing!

I feel like the temp it reads is inaccurate. I can’t trust it. And the suction cup doesn’t work so I just have to have it dangle out of my snakes enclosure. I’ve had it for almost 9 months but I stopped using it after 3 because I got something better and one I can trust. I’d just spend the money on a good one because if you want to take care of a live creature don’t be cheap they deserve the best. Especially since they are probably stuck in a glass box for the rest of their life:)

It’s seems to be pretty accurate. I brought it outside when the wether said the humidity was 50% and it said it was 52%. I just busted my terrarium and it said it was 95%. Seems to be pretty close, if not on the right temp. and humidity. Looks very sleek when paired with other Exo Terra products. Highly recommend. Shipping only took two days when it said it would take 5. I’m very pleased.

I have had this for about two months and it is still working perfectly. It is very sensitive to temperature change as well as humidity fluctuations. I am using it in a hermit crab tank and really like the option to put the sensor inside the tank and the display outside of the tank. I am using it to monitor air conditions as opposed to substrate conditions. I added Dual lock strips to mount it instead of the suction cups as those did not work at all. This type of temperature and humidity gauge rarely lasts very long and are usually not that accurate, this one has been really exceptional. For a device in this price range I would definitely give it five stars.****update***February 2020 This lasted nearly 2 years before the humidity gauge stopped being accurate. I verified its accuracy throughout its life with two different types of gauges. It rapidly reads and adjusts to changes in both temps tire and humidity. For the price this lasted a long time and functioned very well. I would still recommend and I am purchasing again.

I love it, it helps me regulate the temperature/ hydrometer more effectively. I have cresties and I understand that it is unhealthy if temps are as high as 85 degrees and if the max temp reads within 2-3 degress of that range I adjust my light fixture further away. My cresties seem more lively now that the terrarium is a bit more comfortable.There is a max (highest temp/ hydro reading), min (lowest temp/ hydro reading), and current reading features. However you have to reset the max/min every day if you want to get your daily reading. I do this every day I wake up. it literally takes 2 seconds to do and I can get my range at the end of the day and see if I need to adjust the light.

Features are exactly what I want, controls are easy and the display is clear enough. The suction cup works well, and stays put on glass unlike most small cups you get on devices like this. But it has a very cheapy feel to it on the electronics side. For example, the button that cycles between mix/max/current display doesn't work that well, it kind of jumps around between all the settings until it randomly settles on one. Probably mine is a bit defective, but I get the impression I could return this item several times and have a 50/50 chance that the replacement would have the same or similar minor-but-cheapy problem.Overall for the price I am a bit on the disappointed side, although if you just leave it be and if you trust its accuracy, then in the end it does its job ok.
