This is a must have accessory for any 67mm Canon lens.Pros-Perfect fit-Sleek-It has a locking mechanism that makes it, so it does not fall out or is easily taken out-Easy to put on and take off-Easy storage. You can invert the hood cover so it sits backwards in the lens and it's not in the way of the lens if you don't need it. This allows you to always have it with you and ready to go.

I have no problem recommending this lens Hood as an alternative to the brand name lens Hood. I have no regrets with this purchase and I feel that it's on a par with other lens hoods that have come with my other lenses from the manufacturer.
