Regreted buying this gauze. It isnt soft and it scratched the wound.. Not good to use directly over the wound.

For one reason or another I have been performing wound care for close to 50 years. Not as a profession but for myself and occasionally for family members. I have a wound at the moment that requires sterile gauze dressings on a regular basis. I’ve tried a lot of bandages. These are exceptional.I’ve seen comments that they are not sterile and arrived with packages ripped open. I have yet to experience anything like this. Poor quality control or damage can occur for any number of reasons on any product. I have yet to experience this issue.Pros: these bandages are (for my application) the perfect length, width, and are sterile. The gauze is light, fluffy, and reasonably absorbent. It does what I need it to do. Best of all they provide good value for the cost.Cons: I sometimes run out of them too quickly. My fault for poor planning. Every now and then I lose track. On a more serious note, I do not like the box dimensions. I am in a wheelchair and find it extremely difficult to pick up the box in which the bandages are bundled. The dimensions are simply awkward.If you haven’t tried them give them a whirl. I’d recommend these to anyone with a chronic need for sterile gauze bandages.
