It worked as expected right out of the box. Since I had another pulse oximeter from a different company, I was able to compared their results. They compared very well.

Excellent pulse ox, especially for price. I don’t need a top of the line professional model like I did previously. This is just for personal & family use. For that usage it’s excellent: lightweight, easy to read dial, stays in place despite a fair amount of movement, accurate, excellent colors on display. You absolutely can’t miss with this one. At that price you can even afford to buy 2: one for each bathroom so you know where it is in times of emergency! Great product! Go buy you one NOW!

This meter does the job mostly. The LED is easier to read than others I've used. The spring action that holds the clamp to your finger is not very strong however. In order to get a decent reading on myself, I have to try several fingers and then eventually have to hold the meter more tightly to my finger (I do not have oversized fingers). In all, it does the job you need it to.
