  • Please push the battery cover to the top, and the cover will be completely closed when you hear a "snap".

  • Keep your baby still during use and keep the measured finger warm and dry.

  • Please check whether the positive and negative poles of the battery are installed correctly. Please refer to the identification in the battery compartment to install batteries.

  • We recommend this pulse oximeter for children aged 2 and above. If the baby is particularly slender, the device may not detect their finger. In such cases, you can switch to using a larger thumb or toe for measurement.

This is a quick-read accurate product that we find helpful for when we get sick. Two in our household recently got very ill with flu. With asthma and reactive airways when ill, we like to keep an eye on blood oxygen levels. We consulted the simple to follow instructions on how to read the monitor, and easily understood the information on the display. We used this prior to our doctor's appointments while sick, and found the readings to match what was measured by the doctor's offices. This fit my tween child, and fit mom and dad's fingers too. Happy with this order!

My young son took immediately to this. He likes to walk around with it and keep it on his finger. Seems fairly sturdy thus far, as it hasn't broken yet. It does a read pretty quickly and shows your pulse along the bottom of the screen as well. It comes with a lanyard, which can be handy. The only concern I have is that this one shows 99 on the O2 levels whereas my other pulse oximeter was showing 96, so I am not sure if the numbers are off on this one or my other one, but they don't quite match up. The heart rate is pretty similar, though. Overall, it's a nice little pulse oximeter.

This is a very nice pulse oximeter, compact in size to fit kid fingers, and easy to use. Press the power button to turn on, then press again to change the orientation of the information on the screen. The device helpfully comes with a lanyard to make it easy to hold or carry around. The device appears to be accurate with the oxygen level and heart rate.

I have had many, many pulse oximeters that I have used working in HC. This is not the best and not the most accurate. This product description says this will work for babies, good luck with that, this is not made for babies. It will work great for older toddlers and up but not infants or young toddlers. The animal design is cute and the Sp02 seems to be accurate, however, the pulse is off by at least 10-15 bpm (on all the test subjects I used). I would not use this as a diagnostic or definitive tool, but as a generalized idea of well-being, it works well. Or as a household device it is ok, there are better products out there though. The grip of this is not that great either you will need to hold this a little tighter to get a read and the person using this needs to be pretty still for a read to come through. Also, it is very slow to give you a readout.

I volunteer doing some first aid work at high altitude and it always great to have a PulseOx available for checking if people may have altitude sickness versus something potentially more emergent. It is important to note that a pulse ox can be affected by many things such as nail polish, cold fingers, movement, etc.To turn this on, press the yellow power button and then place on the person's finger. This is noted as being for children but it will fit any normal sized adult finger as well. Let it sit for about 30 seconds so it can get a good reading, then review the data. When comparing this to my apple watch it is very close with the heart rate and room air.If there is a medical emergency I would not be counting on this solely to make decisions, but its helpful to get a baseline when you don't have access to advanced care.

The Holfenry Pulse Oximeter is a good instrument for measuring pulse and oxygen saturation. While it is marketed for babies or small children, it can be used by anyone, particularly due to the fact other than the colorful deign, there seems to be little to set it apart from regular "adult sized" oximeters. The SpO2 results seemed accurate, as well as the pulse rate most of the time, though occasionally it did seem kind of low compared to both what my fitness tracker claimed and what I know my BPM should be at both rest and during activities. The Sine Wave patterns that I take is supposed to indicate EKG seemed to highly vary enough that I'm unsure if it truly is measuring something or just for show as I have no other medical equipment to double check it with.I did find there was a bit of an issue with the covering over the battery compartment not wanting to stay on and it fell off a number of times while handling the device and I eventually just taped it shut.Overall, I found this is still an acceptable and mostly accurate product for home health monitoring of all ages alike.

This is very handy to have around if you have little ones. It fits a child's finger perfectly, but definitely will not accommodate an adult-sized finger. Children generally often are stricken with common colds etc. and this device comes in handy to make sure their blood/oxygen isn't getting too low. It also measures pulse rate and PI percentage. With all of the illnesses that get passed around these days, one can never be too safe, so I would highly recommend having this on hand if you have children in your home, or even as a gift to parents/grandparents etc.

I got this children's pulse oximeter to independently check the veracity of our medical pulse oximeter for our medically complex child. It's cute and convenient. I did install the batteries wrong, but it worked perfectly fine either way which begs the question of why there is a specific battery orientation in the first place, unless one of the batteries doesn't actually do anything. Odd, but im not an electrician or electrical engineer. My only gripe is that the heart rate/beats per minute does not seem accurate. This portable oximeter is accurate, by my testing, within 2-3% of the medical-grade device. At the same time, though, the heart rate was wayyyyy off, by 30-40 bpm. Maybe this would have resolved if I had left it on longer, but trying to keep a small devide like this on a small child, as light as it is, is near impossible.
