This was my first time trying to use a pastry mold. As you can see from the picture, they ended up pretty messy. Not bad for a first try, but there is a learning curve.The molds are very well made and not flimsy at all. The metal rings are more delicate though, one was bent in transit but I was able to easily push it back into shape.Things I learned testing these, using the largest ring and mold. Don't mash the mold together but gently press. If you mash it, the mold will just basically cut off the edge leaving an open mess. Don't overfill the pastry, you won't be able to tuck the ingredients inside enough and they'll mess with sealing the edge.It was fun making these, and I know how to make them better next time. I see myself using these at least once a week or for batch cooking breakfasts and lunches.

Excellent quality. They are two different sizes, which is great. I didn't realize that from the photo. I also really like the larger sized circular cutters that are included.
