Is the power rating exaggerated? Yes. Is it great for midrange or tweeters in a system with electronic crossovers? Yes. Does it work as a mid powered monitor amp? Yes. Has it been reliable for months now? Yes. Is the noise floor acceptably quiet for live sound? Yes. Good bang for buck? Yes.

Very cheap build, very low power amps. Bought two, only one of them worked at all. Not enough power to push 15 inch sub without distortion. LEDs are installed incorrectly and read out the wrong levels. Dots on front are a graphic, not air ports.

Purchased this a few weeks ago and hooked it up. Right away I noticed a few things. Good and bad. Just to start with the good: the amp definitely puts more power to my Gemini GSM-3250's which enables them to push out a hell of a lot more bass. I can finally see the 15's on my speakers, flex. That unfortunately is the only thing I like about this amp.Now the bad: I wasn't expecting to be blown away by such a low priced amp considering I've never heard of the name as well but I'm positive this thing is not 1200 watts; even at it's peak. I also noticed a humming coming through the speakers. This is especially heard when playing music that starts off quieter than other tracks. Also, the way this thing looks; it just looks cheap. Like swap-meet quality cheap. The fan is a bit loud too but not even heard at higher volumes. I really wanted to be able to use this to beef up the sound of my mains for music and movies to be able to somehow get this thing working in tandem with my Yamaha RXV375 receiver but I still haven't figured out a way to do this without my receiver telling me check speaker cable. All in all, it's a decent product with some downsides. If you're a true audiophile you should not purchase this but if you just want to play music at high volumes than this would do just fine.

First let me say - it arrived TRIPLE boxed - thank you! - Second, it's very light. Note that it's not a 1200 RMS watt amplifier, but it's very clean and enough power for my purposes. If you are a DJ, it won't work for you, but, remember - you get what you pay for. Also, If you are into high-end audio, look elsewhere. But, if you need a back-up amp, or an amp to run monitors, or a keyboard amp (that's what I use it for) it does an excellent job. I give it 5 stars for being a great amp for the price.

This item is Ok, but for the money it is what it is. It is not a crown or QSC by any stretch of the imagination but will get smaller jobs done. It cannot handle lows very well. Out of crossover to mids and highs would be ok but its not realy that powerful. I ran it through a 31 band eq and compressor and pushed it using my console (Carvin S/L 24X8)to EQ the signal but the lows would clip realy fast with lots of low end. I use this model for monitor only situation. This unit would not be suitable for subs(cannot handle lows very well. When i get it installed in my studio practice room i can update this units performance after harder use.Hondo Hall7 Year DroughtSinger, songwriter,Guitarist and FOH Granada Alpine Texas.Over 7 Years experience working with names like:Texas Tornadoes, Graham Wilkenson, Dale Watson, Tye Segall, Patrice Pike, Bubba Hernandez, Micki Free,Craig Carter, Matt Skinner to just name a few, this list goes on.
