I am giving this 4 stars but there needs to be context around it considering what it is. My son plays bass and guitar and has a bunch of different amp, cabinet and combo setups including several practice amps from smaller fender to the Katana mini amp which this is close to in size (although this is a bit smaller). We tried this with his guitar first as we were scared that a bass might blow the speaker. On the clean channel, this is not bad at all for a small practice amp for someone needing to be careful about noise. Volume is actually ok but the sound is thin and does not travel far. Like most practice amps this size. There is one tone knob that has a little impact on sound but the speakers are so small that any adjustment is more subtle than anything.Adding overdrive is where this lacks. Yes, you get that dirty sound but we found it also adds a bit of static. We tried a few cables and different guitars butt he light statis was there. Not so bad that you couldn't practice with it but it is there. We went back to the clean channel and stayed there. The back has a few outputs including a headphone jack. We briefly tried that and that overdrive sounded better. There are also some audio and bluetooth options on this but we did not try them. While we did not run the battery down at all, I would assume using bluetooth would cut down on battery life. With that said, we started this up right out of the box to try and it went strong for an hour without dying. We did charge it after but I think this will last a long time,We did hook up a bass to it and the clean sounded ok. Enough to practice but you lose the subtle tone changes you make with a bigger amp or even the adjustments on your bass. You have to be careful with the gain adjustment on the amp as it adds way too much taking away the clean sound. For the price and size, this is a decent option for someone needing a tiny amp they can through in a backpack and take somewhere to practice. And compared to other options like the Katana (which is more than 2x the price), the sound and quality is good enough.

When I was younger (yes, a LOT younger), I bounced around among different rock bands in my area, playing bass. My amp was the Ampeg SVT, which was nearly as tall as me and about 4' wide. So when this little guy showed up, about half the size of a loaf of bread, I had to laugh a little. But the purpose of this amp was never going to be to rattle the walls of a large rock club. But it *does* give a reasonable quality sound. These days, my axe is a 12-string guitar with incorporated electronics, and I was able to plug it into the LEKATO Mini Guitar Amplifier. It's the first time I'd amplified this guitar, so it was an interesting experience. It gave me a reasonably clean, if not overpowering sound that I enjoyed. While I'm not longer playing professionally, I can see how this could come in very handy for practicing or playing privately prior to a gig.TBH, I didn't bother testing the distortion and overdrive feature as this is not my thing and probably isn't suitable to a 12-string guitar.Small error in the description. One of the photos show the length dimension as 4.53". It's actually a little over 6.5".

This LEKATO Mini Guitar Amp is a excellent choice for a low cost tiny practice amplifier that sounds good.I will admit that I was surprised by the sound coming out of this mini amp .The manual is printed in multiple languages and is in a large enough font to make it useful.the amplifier came pre charged and fully charged in about a half hour from whatever percent the charge was when it shipped.Even though this is a mini amp ,it is not short on features or sound , it sounds good and it supports bluetooth so you can connect to your phone or other streaming device to stream music through it while you play along.Even playing at the loudest volume the sound remained clear however the 5 watts of power are enough so you will not have to play at full volume. The amplifier also includes a headphone jack so you can use headphones for silent practicing , this small cost , small size has big sound for your guitar practicing with easy portability.
