I purchase two styles since we had a really bad fruit fly problem. Sink flies and fruit flies in the trash. Swarms of them!Installed this and turned on the overnight light. I didn't see any results from that. And swatting at the flies was only successful 25% of the time, because the little buggers get away! But, hold it over the trash can and slip it over the trash as you raise the lid and I was getting 5 -7 at a time. I keep closing and raising the lid and the loud pops and flying little corpses were proof this was working.Within 3 days we have almost none left. Killed over 50 of them. I can walk from the bathroom, to the lanai to the kitchen and quickly send them to their next life.

Excellent price and this will work great on our small sailboat for the tiniest, most bothersome flying insects that make it thru the netting.(Probably wont use it as a swatter, though, as it does it's job well just sitting there.)The unit is large and quite solid feeling.VERY glad I bought it!Nice 5-year warranty, too!

Sure! Here’s a well-written positive review for an electric racket, such as an electric bug zapper racket:Title: Must-Have for Bug-Free Living!I recently purchased this electric racket, and it has been a total game-changer! The powerful zap instantly eliminates mosquitoes, flies, and other pesky bugs with just a single swing. I love that it’s rechargeable, so I don’t have to keep replacing batteries. The lightweight design makes it easy to use, and the safety mesh ensures I don’t accidentally shock myself.Whether I’m indoors or enjoying a night on the patio, this racket keeps my space bug-free without the need for sprays or chemicals. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an effective and hassle-free way to deal with insects!

These are terrible knockoffs of the real item. They wouldn't stay charged for more than half a day then you would need to spend at least 24 hours recharging. Both stopped working within 10 days. Would definitely not recommend.

These are fantastic!!! They take a bit to initially charge but once they do the last a LONG time! Very easy to use and they do a great job frying those little buggers! The only drawback is the smell from the dying flies-not an issue with the racquet but still a positive negative.

Here’s a cleaner version of your text:I’ve had this device for a couple of months now, and I’m happy to say it has exceeded my expectations. Since using it, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in bugs flying around my home. I keep it on the charging base in continuous charge mode overnight, which keeps it zapping bugs throughout the night. When fully charged and unplugged, it lasts about 4 hours, which is more than enough for my needs. The zapping sounds might bother some people, but to me, it’s a satisfying reminder that bugs are being eliminated.Cleaning it is straightforward—just turn it off, wipe it down with a damp cloth, and let it dry completely before turning it back on.While flies aren’t naturally drawn to this device, I’ve created what I call “fun mode.” By setting it to the middle switch function, you can activate it manually by squeezing the trigger. Then, you can hunt down flies and send them to bug heaven. If you live in a bug-filled area like I do, I highly recommend this product. I’m already considering buying a second one!

This thing is bad a$$, excuse my language but its comical how well it cooks up and fries a bug in a single swat. It's the real deal. It requires being charged. One thing about me, I actually much prefer using batteries and changing them out even know it cost more, I just have way to many things that require charging so things you don't need too often I'm okay with batteries, thats my only wish is that it was battery operated. Either way this thing is 100% worth it. Also you can leave it on its stand and leave the power stitch one that has some kind of blue LED light that attracts (for me it was flies) and it will fry them all night long. = )

This has to be attached to the charging point constantly and doesn’t retain charge. This reduces utility significantly.

This charged up quickly and has been holding a charge reasonably well, although I haven't used it that much. It does seem to zap fruitflies ok, although a couple got zapped and continued flying. Maybe the electrode just grazed them? I hit a fly with it and the fly fell to the ground but continued twitching. When I scooped it up to throw in the trash, it began flying again, although pretty slowly. I was hoping it would knock insects dead, but it looks like sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. hence the 4, not 5 star rating. I didn't rate the battery life because like I said, I haven't used it all that much. So with only waving it around 3 or 4 times a day and having only very few insects to zap, it has held a charge for 3 days now without recharging. I imagine the battery would drain quicker if I was zapping whole clouds of bugs daily. There are 2 settings - one is designed for when you are waving the zapper around, trying to catch flying pests. In addition to pushing the slider switch on the side to setting #1, there is a large white button that you have to hold down when you are swinging it around. The button is large and flat, so it's pretty comfortable to hold down. The second setting has the electrodes on constantly (emits purple light), so you can put it in its stand (the stand is a bit wobbly because it's so light) and just use it like a mosquito lamp - bugs fly into it and get zapped. When a bug gets zapped, you get a really loud crackling noise - a bit startling at first, but you get used to it. I really like the fact that this has a rechargeable battery - more cost effective than having to change batteries all the time. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase.
