Lightweight unit, well-constructed and looks like a quality product. Two pack allows for keeping around the house so available when required. It is a bit early in the year for a proper test but hopefully it will do the job it is designed for! For maximum effectiveness it is generally recommended running it in a location without any other sources of light, so the mosquitos etc. are attracted to the light. It is supplied with two charging options, either by charged by plugging a USB C cable into the side or the base, where it has the charging contacts for sitting it into the charging base, for a more fixed installation. It has two operating modes, with position 1 on the switch allowing for brief activation via the ‘zap’ button, position 2 being designed for use as a permanent on when sitting in the base. In the position 2 setting, a blue glow comes from the bottom of the meshed area to attract flies etc to the zapping area.If being used in the static mode it needs to be located and plugged in with some care and thought so does not get pulled over by someone catching the top of the unit, as it is quite top heavy when on the base.

This pair of fly zappers/swatters are much bigger and more robustly made than others I have purchased. That should also be borne in mind when using them as swatters, since could cause a fair bit of damage if used over-enthusiastically in confined spaces!Unlike others I have used, they are also rechargeable, rather than using disposable batteries – charging stations and leads are included, although you will need a couple of Mains to USB-A charging adaptors. There is also a small LED panel built into the handle which displays the level of charge remaining as well as flashing when the zappers are charging. There are effectively three modes that the zappers/swatters can be used in: Switched off as a straight-forward swatter; Switch position one, where pressing on the long blue bar built into the handle energises the grille until the bar is released; Switch position two, where the electric grille is constantly on and a blue light glows. When in the latter mode, the zappers/swatters can be sat in their charging docks and zap any insects that are attracted by the light – useful perhaps when sat outside in the evening or in a kitchen environment.Being winter in the UK at present, I have not come across any flies or mosquitos to test the zappers on. However, I did touch the grilles with an insulated screwdriver and got a spark and satisfyingly loud crack. Given this, I have no reason to doubt that the zappers will work fine in real action. At nearly twenty pounds each, these zappers/swatters are a fair bit more expensive than some that are available. However, I think it is worth paying that bit more for the larger size, durability, functionality and rechargeable capability.

First off... I'm a no-kill home. Mice to bugs are caught and released in nature. However, an infestation of fruit flies became war. This bug racket has totally rid every inch of pesky flies. I totally recommend it but must say the snap is loud and I found a bit disturbing. Larger bugs electrocution went on several seconds. Creepy. The order includes two rackets making this a good deal.

I never knew I needed premium fly zappers in my life until I tried these. Compared to our previous electric zappers these feel high quality, have a neat little dock for charging (although you'll need your own a USB charger) and deliver a satisfying zap on contact with passing bugs. I like the idea you can use the purple light to try and attract bugs while the mesh is on but I've not been able to test this in practice yet (wrong time of year). So, cool looking, effective and no need to replace batteries. Only downside - price. £40 for 2 of these is a lot.

Positives are its not ugly like some of the cheaper ones, seems to work well and has a decent zapping mesh that is fine enough to get the small bugs,Nice that there are 2 in the box both with its own cables ( but you need your own charger blocks ) the stands work well and its pretty stable and can charge from the stand when plugged inblue light is not overly bright but no idea if it actually workInteresting is the internal supports wife and daughter went oohhh its a cat... Me, i think its a bat cause you know, its a bug bat. but they thought it was "cute" so thats a thing.Overall no creaks or loose feelings about it, was easy to charge with a clear led display showing state of charge.I have confidence that it will work well during the summer/autumn months dealing with houseflys and moths and the occasional spider

This pair of fly swatters arrive in a white box with a colour print of one of the fly swatters in it's base that measures approx 44cm x 24cm x 6cm.Inside the box, you get the 2 identical fly swatters and 2 identical stands with a small instruction leaflet.I got something very similar to this last year, but my son pretty much ran off with it so got very little chance to use it in the summer although I know this style works really well, so I was really pleased to get 2 of them.Wherever you leave one, a fly will instantly turn up on the other floor of your house, or in a different room so having a couple means we now have them upstairs and downstairs, ready to defeat flies wherever they dare to show up.I've tried many different fly swatters over the years and this style just seems to work best for me.If you are trying to get something that has landed on a curtain, you can move it fairly slowly and the mesh area is large enough you can often get them as they try to dodge out of the way, plus in the air it's much easier not to have a near miss. You can also stand these upright in their small bases and leave them on to work as an insect attractor without you having to hold them.Although there is a metal mesh to stop you touching the live part in the centre, smaller fingers will fit though it and you can get a bit of a shock from doing so, making these best kept away from smaller children.Really effective, charge easily with a USB charger but I'd wait for an offer as they are wildly overpriced.

We have these little flies that circle our chandeliers so you can’t swat them against a wall. I tried spraying them with fabreeze which works on other bugs but these flies were relentless! This electrocution device for flies is PERFECT!! It came charged and ready to go. I’ve annihilated like 11 flies so far and I’m still going strong with 85% battery!! Best purchase my husband never knew he made!!!!!

I was looking for an electric bug zapper swatter to kill the bugs that usually come in when we leave the door open. I came across with this one and I bought it. The shipping was fast. It came charge, so i was able to use it the same day. I was surprised on how well this bug zapper swatter works. I usually leave it on all night, and during the day my kids use it to kill the flies. As for now it works well. I would really recommend it to friends and family.

This fly swatter is awesome! It's so sleek and modern, way better than those cheap plastic things. I love that it recharges, so I never have to worry about batteries. Plus, the guard makes it safe, it's perfectly sized for quick swats, and that purple light really draws the bugs in. Seriously, it's worth it!

This little gadget looks like a tennis racket and I love swatting the flies with it! It does an amazing job and I love that it is rechargeable. I also love how it looks. It complements the area. Fits in well. This has been a lifesaver with all the flies we've had this year, and every year. I highly recommend.
