We love this fly scattered. It is easy to use and does a good job when you get the flying insects in your house. The kids love using it after the doors have been left opened. The dogs get upset hearing the flies sizzle. It does have to be charged everyday when in use. We've had it for 1 season.

Die Fliegenklatsche ist super. Ob kleine Fruchtfliegen oder im Sommer große Stechmücken die kriegt alles gefangen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden. Wir haben uns schon mehrere dieser Fliegenklatschen zugelegt.

Fliegen und auch kleine Fruchtfliegen kann man damit töten. Gerade die kleinen sind oft schwer zu erwischen. Hier geht man langsam ran und die fliegen versuchen anscheinend durch das Gitter zu fliegen und werden dann mit einem Elektrischen Überschlag getötet. Bei ganz großen Fliegen kann es sein das sie danach noch Mal davon fliegen, also richtig killen wenn sie am Boden liegen. Bisher 3 E-Klatschen getestet, diese ist super.

I've lived all over this planet and seen some obnoxious flying insects. The ones in Illinois are unlike any other I've ever encountered. Huge mosquitoes, disgusting fat nasty flies and those darn Japanese beetles… no match for this high power, does it all with minimal effort from the user.I used to swing wildly at insects in my raged attempts, but no more am I the least concerned about these bugs. If the zapper doesn't get them while it sits on automation mode ( I love the sound of insects colliding with the web of death), or I just gently and calmly come from behind or above and essentially come down on the bug while it attempts to fly away. Gets them everytime, zzzaaaaappp, pop, dead. Works great outside, the battery lasts longer than expected, overall very effective to reduce any flying or ground insect.

So to start off I have a massive fruit fly problem. They started swarming due a chunk of fruit I didn't notice that had fallen between the fridge and counter. But once they were here it was impossible to make them leave. Until know. So my biggest pet peave is how loud the zaps are. The actual product it's self is so quiet I wouldn't be able to even see it was on if not for the battery light and the blue light turning on. But the zaps of the flies hitting it is an adjustment sound wise. It is good quality for my money. I have bought others in the past that were battery powered. The battery life on this is about the same as a battery powered ones but its nice to be able to just recharge it when not in use. It's maybe a half pound to a pound and my grandma who is in her 80's was using it while she was over and had no issues in regards to it being uncomfortable. It stands well on its own and doesn't seem unstable at all. My only big issue is I have to swing slowly so the flies make contact but I am using it with fruit flies not anything else so that may just be a me issue. over all glad I bought it and happy no not have to spend the average of 20-25 bucks to get one in stores locally

Well I bought one for me and one for my BFF because she was having fly issues. And this seemed like one of the best options for price durability and function. The flies are not at all attracted to the uv light, I see people say the mosquitos do. So that's just one thing if that's what people are buying it for. It works great as a fly swatter and zapper just be careful inside the house cuZ it can be kinda dangerous if your not paying attention. I like that it is rechargeable and is easy to charge and see if and when it's full. Comes with a great little instruction booklet and how the power works or is distributed. Very helpful. Also, the design is really cool because the handle swivels so that you can set in upright on the counter or shelf. And compats if needed to travel. I love it and would recommend for everyone for need or fun.

I wanted to love this product. As far as working to eliminate fruit flies, it does!Pros: reasonably attractive design, can be set on a table or used by hand (similar to a tennis racket) and it is effective.Cons: there is a startling ZAP sound and a bit of a spark when flies make deadly contact. I didn’t like holding it as my startle reflex was too intense. (might just be me). Emits an irritating sound that only animals can hear that terrified my dogs.I gave this product 4 stars because it arrived and worked as advertised. My personal experience was less than satisfactory as I cannot turn this product on with my dogs around. Which is pretty much all the time. I will contact the manufacturer with my concerns as I feel a warning should be posted that it is harmful to dogs.If your home is pet free and you don’t startle easily this is a great product!
