For the sake of argument I bought one of these. It was cheap worthless crap PERIOD! For less than the price I built the same thing using UST matches and an Altoids tin from Walmart. Take my advice, build your own, and save yourself some money.

hard to strike, but burns when you keep trying. But then burns out so fast that the wood of the match doesn't ever light. Bad quality

Fast shipping, great product, they are a great addition to have in your EDC or in your emergency kit, they will stay lit underwater and will light wind and under Windy conditions, I will buy it again.

Not at all as military original. Cheaply made and no flint on bottom, like the one I was issued. Small paper scratch flint in package.

The only reason that I did not give a top rating is that I have not needed to use one yet. These are almost exactly like one that I bought at a surplus store near Ft Bragg almost 40 years ago. I have replaced those matches numerous times over the years after use in the field. These matches are far safer for lighting the current line up of alcohol stoves on the market than lighters. So, I keep one of these tubes of matches with each of my cook sets, and in my backpacks for emergencies. Just one of the little reliable things to have on hand in the event of an emergency.
