Decent quality but not like a real storm proof match. Striker thin and looks like will get tattered quickly. Matches don’t last much longer than a plain wooden match.

The 1st match blew up like a small firecracker. It did not light. It just flew into pieces. The second one broke. The 3rd one did finally light after MANY tries and nearly wore out the scratching pad for lighting. These are defective. These are UNSAFE. They should NOT be for sale. THE USPS should ban them from being mailed. AMAZON should not allow this unsafe product to be sent to people's homes. Amazon should consider they are unsafe to be in their warehouses.I have asked for a refund. However, the company wants me to return them to their California location. I am NOT in California. It's a $21 item so not worth a 1000+ mile drive.

First thing I did was test to see if it is waterproof. I bought several and they all were tight -- no leaks to the bottom of the kitchen sink. I'm not diving with these.The scratch paper arrives loose, but it will easily slide down into the tube so it doesn't get lost. Probably best to face the scratch surface outward.
