Poorly engineered. There is a fastener back in between the blades. This causes the blades to touch pretty much no where but the tip (also doesn’t help that one of the blades is bowed, probably because of the fastener), which means you bend grass instead of cutting it. The design is so bad the blade itself eats into the fastener making metal shavings as you try to use it. On top of that they are incredibly difficult to squeeze compared to every other grass shear I’ve ever used.

I got these Edward Tools Hand Grass Shears this summer and I must write a review. These remind me of the old-fashioned clippers from years ago. STURDY, Sharp, and easy to use. These will last for years

Very happy with these shears for trimming my lawn. They are very sharp and the swivel is working well for me. After buying two pairs of Corona brand shears at a local hardware which were dull and had a wobbly swivel for twice the price, I was amazed by these . Ordered a second one.

Easy to use much better than a pair i bought at a local store which broke within 1 day. A little hard to cut large weeds with but no problem with grasses and small weeds.

Sturdy and well built sheers. I bought these to trim the weeds around our above ground, soft-skin swimming pool. I don't want to use a weed eater around the pool, fearing the weed eater will rip it open.I have a 15' pool, and did about half of it in 10 minutes, and it cut everything just fine.Other reviewers have stated how hard it is to engage the locking mechanism, and how difficult it is to operate the shears. However, I think that is because of the quality of the tool, and the strength of the spring.
