It features a pin-style activation cord (adjustable from 18" to 36") that pulls when the user moves, dislodging the pin from the alarm unit and activating the signal. The alarm includes two volume settings (97 dB and 103 dB) and can be deactivated with the On/Off switch. The product requires one 9V battery to operate (included).

I use it for monthly earthquake and fire drills at my childcare center. It alerts the children when to take cover or evacuate.

The back of the alarm came broken and the pin is very difficult to pull out. This just didn't work work and has a cheap outer casing. The alarm was loud which was good.

Pull Pin item as described was out of stock and the company shipped a different type (magnetic pull)with an explanation. Item waas received ahead of schedule. Good value for the price. Works as described (very well). Although it is not the item ordered, I believe the one shipped may be a more expensive model but is acceptable. I cannot comment on the one I ordered, but the magnetic one they shipped is very good.
