I used this product while taking care of my mother. It worked really well. When she tried to get out of bed unassisted the alarm would sound to get my attention. This was great.

Planned obsolescence!. The price is high for only one year. Warranty is for one year and mat failed exactly after one year of use. Now buying a much cheaper version and see how long it lasts.

I bought this mat to place at the bedside of my elderly aunt who has dementia. I am now able to get a better sleep during the night knowing that the minute she gets out of bed and steps onto the mat the alarm goes off on my monitor. This cordless mat is important as the alarm does not ring at the bedside therefore not scaring her. It is expensive, but worth it to me. I no longer have to sleep with one ear open.

Used floor mat to alert me when spouse stepped out of bed to use the bathroom. The mat is large, so there is no chance that feet on the floor will miss it. The alarm is loud enough to hear, but quiet enough not to jar you. Be aware that the monitor is battery operated, and the cord to the monitor is not very long. The monitor will likely need to be in the same room as the mat; or, in our case, the bed is close enough to a door to run the cord out the door and into the next room. Worked perfectly for me.

We just received our pad. We purchased and paid for a NEW product, however, we received a "Return". All of the parts were taken out of their packaging and were loose in the box. Can't find everything that is supposed to be included. The pad does seem to be working. We'll keep it for now because we don't have time before my wife's mother comes home from the hospital. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Works great . I have a special needs that I use it for and it’s on the floor. It gives me piece of mind. When she wakes up in the middle of the night, all she does is step on the pad and the alarm will go off. I like it.

I bought this product for my mom after she had a stroke to alert us when she gets up. It was very easy 1-2 set up and immediately alarms when someone steps on it. Only thing I wish is that it was either louder or came with a second remote receiver that could be placed in my room to hear the sound sooner. The way my house is set up by the time I hear the alarm my mother is already up and walking without someone there to watch her. I had to purchase an additional baby monitor so I could hear it sooner and respond quicker. This is more of an issue at night when I am asleep from my bedroom. During the day when I am in living room it is easier to hear.

Size fits perfectly under a 28x48 in rug. Adjustable volume is great however the adjustment is inside the battery case and you need a small screwdriver to access it. Is working just as we needed it to, keeping Dad safer.
