Appears to work, no black lines or smudge spots. Time will tell. Instructions on how to reset drum life percentage counter for MFC-L2740dw were wrong and that was frustrating. Finally figured it out. My machine does not have an always visible "keyboard", just one that only shows up when Brother thinks you need it, and that also caused some consternation. If this drum holds up and lasts as long as genuine Brother, it'll be a good deal.

Bought the DR630 Drum Unit 2-Pack for my Brother MFC-L2700DW laser printer. Drum was easily installed and fit without any issues. Got very good dark black test prints with the Brother MFC-L2700DW laser printer's Density Adjustment set to "Darkest". This is a Good Value (if drums last as long as advertised and continue working trouble free). Thus far I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Works fine on Brother MCF-2700DW. Two other company's that said it would fit were not correct.

This is NOT the ink/toner cartridge! Don't make the same mistake I did. (I'm an accounting person who has to do some basic tech person because I'm at a small company).That said.. I'm sure this thing works well to do whatever it is that it does. It looks like it is constructed well.

I ordered this for a Brother Printer because the price was good. I received two (I thought or meant to I order one but maybe it the drum comes in duplicate..not sure)? Since I received two (only need one) means the prices was better than expected. My brother printer still has a pop-up message that I am supposed to install an orginial Brother Drum. The "replace drum" message won't go away. It prints ok but not sure if this a printer or drum problem? My printer is louder than is used to be. I sent a message to brother that I replaced the drum and the error message won't go away. This is when it started saying , "Use an original Brother drum". This is the first time I've ever replaced a drum in a printer. Only if it was scratched or damaged did I ever need to replace a drum. Never had to have normal printer maintenance with a drum replacement. I'm just not sure if it is the printer drum issue? I just need to print a lot of stuff.
